It doesn't auto detect what languages are available. So you will need to change the source code to add extra languages. If I recall correctly, you will need to do so in the main preferences screen.

That is not true. You have the following options: 1. Use the built in backup plugin 2. Create manual backups 3. Don't select "remove previous versions of Cura and all profiles" 4. Recover profiles from project files 5. Recover profiles from g-code The download / usage data that we get suggests otherwise. I think that most of them simply use option 3. Luckly we have those. Yep. The strech post processing script does something like that https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/blob/master/plugins/PostProcessingPlugin/scripts/Stretch.py#L519 There are probably more scripts that do it as well.

Have you also uploaded the plugin to the marketplace? I expect that you will get a lot more attention for it via that route. You can upload it on contribute.ultimaker.com/

You disabled the simulation plugin, which provides the layer view. Enable it again to get it back.

The error already tells you what is going wrong: Inherited JSON file "creality_base" not found. You need to make sure that that creality_base is in the same location as the engine, it can't find it otherwise.

My guess is that it's added to your account but currently offline.

This should be fixed for 4.13.

Ah, I remembered correctly, this has been fixed for 4.13 If you remove the active_machine line from cura.cfg (line 21) it should at least start up again.

It places them like the second image for both of the files for me. The 3Dmodel file is indeed the only place where locations / models are stored.
