  1. If you disable the USB printing plugin it will stop doing that. You can do that via the marktplace and then navigate to the "installed" tab.
  2. I wasn't aware that you were the one handing out that award 😉 In all seriousness; If you have suggestions on how to improve something, feel free to suggest them on github. But your post as is is far to vague for us to do anything with it. There simply isn't any actionable bit of information in it.
  3. We can't help you if you don't provide us with a project file.
  4. We don't have packages for machines. We do have a guide on how to add new machines to Cura: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/wiki/Adding-new-machine-profiles-to-Cura
  5. I'm not quite sure what you mean. The walls are printed solid, which makes sense. They indeed seem to be ~1.5mm, so if you have a line width of 0.4mm and a wall line count of 3, there is no room for infill. If you have different settings, it could be that there are gaps between the walls (especially if you have "Fill Gaps Between Walls" disabled). I can also recommend you to have a look at Cura Arachne, which is a version of Cura with a completely re-worked engine that is much better at printing cases like this.
  6. Please report issues on https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues. It's super hard for us to keep track of everything otherwise. It also provides a nice template to ask for all the information that we typically need when solving an issue.
  7. Well, yes. But you probably have monotonic ordering enabled.
  8. That won't matter. It's a specific ryzen issue. Nothing that Cura does should be able to crash the entire machine. There are also other applications (games mostly) that suffer from the same issue. The GH link I posted has some workarounds for this issue.
  9. You need to upgrade your firmware.
  10. They are tested on AMD processors. You have proven that it fails for a specific set of hardware 😉 Ah, there you have it. Ryzen has made a lot of mistakes with their drivers. Cura isn't the only application hit by this issue. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this, as it's caused by an issue in drivers provided by AMD. You can find more information (and a work around) here: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues/5265
  11. Please report bugs on github, as that's the place where we keep track of them all. See https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues
  12. Because we couldn't get it to work, since the compiler for OSx was (is?) lagging behind in what it supports. We are working on fixing that, as we found another way to support it.
  13. The only solution that I can offer here is having a look at the subscriptions that Ultimaker offers. One of the features that you get it is built in support for various CAD files (including solidworks parts).
  14. I also found some profiles that probably copied data from Ultimaker profiles, so I changed the authors to be listed as "Unknown" in those cases. Thanks for reporting it 🙂
  15. It looks like you have the x-ray view enabled in preview and not layerview. There is nothing weird going on in your logs, so the layerview should work.
  16. Ah, it's probably because the real author didn't define an author for the profiles, so it inherited the default (which is Ultimaker)
  17. Could you post the entire log? The parts that you selected don't contain enough info to help you.
  18. https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues/10249
  19. We don't need to pretend; Ahoeben is right. The best way to get support is to contact your reseller. For certain things (eg; issues with Cura) you can also report issues on Github.
  20. Have you checked this link: https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/4402996140946-Ultimaker-Cura-crashes-when-opening-any-file
  21. I think you might be exporting your models in Inches, whereas cura expects them to be in mm. STL unfortunately doesn't have a standard unit size, so it's up to the consumer to interpret it. So either use .3mf files (that do have this capability built in), scale your models by hand or use the barbarian plugin (https://marketplace.ultimaker.com/app/cura/plugins/nallath/BarbarianPlugin)
  22. Fantastic that you did 😄 But could you also report the issue on github (since it's not there yet). I've briefly glanced over the log (very briefly, mind you) and i'm a bit suprised that it's crashing there. So if you add it to github, I'd love to have a more in depth look at it.
