Die nozzle kun je waarschijnlijk gewoon nog schoonmaken met een gasbrander.
Waarom heb je überhaupt je assen losgehaald om je printkop te vervangen??? Had je andere problemen?
Sluit me aan bij de opmerking dat um onderdelen in DOOSJES moet gaan shippen. De bubbel-enveloppen zijn echt ongeschikt.

If you want a ups to be a bit affordable 10 hr prints without power wont be an option.... but 15 minutes or so should be doable... for maybe 3 to 4 hundred euro.... still a lot more money than a few failed prints..

keeping the heated bed on without power is a bit difficult I guess

Visited "dutch design week" today. Had a look at project egg and did a factory tour in the new shapeways factory in eindhoven. They have some impressive sls machines.

For pla yes. Around 40c. For colorfabb xt it can be more like waiting to go down to 20celsius.

not sure if intentional, to fix later, but the reported behaviour on not going to the first page after a search, and being forced into a description for a collection is still there.

Just did an upload, was indeed a lot better than before, no more error on the first picture.
I do think the layout of the text in "description" looks bad, somehow I can only get it to just have one continuous text, all breaks are ignored.
I really like the way thingiverse does this with a edit box on the left and a preview box on the right, so you also see if the layout of weblinks is oke, will probably again be a lot of work :(
Please asap fix the change of the aspect ratio in pictures, on a pc it already looks bad, but on a smartphone in "portret" position it looks horrible (not talking overview pages, but pages of a single item).
Just never change aspect ratio, only add surrounding white when needed.....

Just made a reinforced version of my feeder, adapted for use with my "Ultimaker2 Rail System".
Think colorwise I got my inspiration from "my first sony"

XT , Glass Transition Temperature: 75C
PLA/PHA, Glass Transition Temperature: 55C
XT will better withstand higher temperatures, PLA f.e. is not a good idea for a car-phone-holder during summer ...
The downside is you need to print XT at higher temperatures, which can be an issue on some printers.
I would not dear to comment on actual strength, I found XT rather brittle, but other seem to think its super strong....

a fuel3D, was impressed after I saw it at the london 3d printshow .... ordered it via dutch reseller "makerpoint" so hopefully ETA somewhere november ...

could not resist a small test, used the "Hell_Skull" model on an older basic i5 laptop...
14.07 : 61 sec.
14.09_RC2 : 54 sec.
14.10_RC4 : 52 sec.
assume the delta with go up on more complex models .... with a scanner on the way thats for sure good news.

I see also mobile browsing has improved! nice.
Also here continuous scrolling would be nice, or a least an option for more results per page.

However when I browse f.e. to the 3th page, and then enter a new search, the new search results will start display at page 3, should be page 1 ...
I don't see why I have to add a description to a collection, please allow to leave it blank.
I find "trending" and "popular" a bit double, specially when it shows the same items sometimes.
I agree with the comments on "printability rating" the risk is huge it says more about the skills of the person printing than about the quallity of the model.
Would be nice to also focus on the ease of the upload proces, appart for fixing the many errors during upload i would be nice to be able to "drag and drop" change the order of the pictures. Also many time the first uploaded picture gives an error.
Could not have a look at the 'designer' part, going to the user profile will only give an error.

My favourites samsung galaxy s3/4/5. The 'old' s3 is dead cheap now and still a great phone....

Maybe i missed something but why would the larger um1 nozzle be better than the smaller e3d ?

Interesting comparison..
looking at the last picture, the advice would be to turn the hot-end-isolator until the gap with the teflon part gets to 1 mm. In your picture, with a bigger gap, the pressure from the spring on the teflon part is to high (page 56 of the assembly manual...)
