  1. Didier dan moet ik dringend geel filament gaan halen. Maar dan moet ik er witte tekst van maken. Is eigenlijk nog een goed idee!
  2. Als iedereen nu eens naamkaartjes gehad had hé!
  3. anon4321: My guess it's because the screws don't end in a flat part but slightly dome shaped.
  5. Printing with flexible filament!
  6. Didier: It would be in Gent, so I don't know about the distance for you. I also don't know if they will allow us to do it during the weekend there, guess that will become clear somewhere after September. I agree about the weekend for the ones in Utrecht though. I love to come to those meetings but it's a lot of effort to make it there in time for me as well
  7. I'm curious about it indeed. I'll make sure to bring my name-tag again... or perhaps print a new one, dunno yet. I guess the 6 weeks timer has been reset. Does anyone still recall what flavours where in the the CF sample pack? Some bronzefill, glow in the dark, 2 woodfills (?) Wish they had added tags to it
  8. Thanks to the people of Colorfabb (I kniw it's only the brand name, but everyone knows you like that) for the presentation and the samples! Eagerly awaiting the newly announced filament!
  9. Didier: Looks exactly like what I was looking for, thank you for that!
  10. @Sander: Is Daid going to be there? Just need to know if I have to stop in the chocolate-cookie store in advance
  11. IRobertI did it for his feeder, if he misses the topic (which I doubt ), you could ask him directly
  12. Thanks Titus. Yeah it's the gearvase indeed. The couple in question spotted the vase on my 3d printed album on FB and expressed their love for it, hence the idea was born.
  13. Welcome! You won't regret it, it's a pretty awesome piece of machinery
  14. It did take a long time, but the receiving couple was one we hold dear so it was worth it. Initially I tried printing 3 roses but the retraction messed up my filament. It's already bad for one, let alone the constant switching between 3. Ended up using 0.1mm layers and a print speed of 50mm/s. Took just under 3 hours per rose head. For the stems I initially wanted those with thorns but that would result in about an hour extra to print the support and I needed 10 (one for every year they were together before the marriage) So I took the one without, made it longer and then printed it with a brim (it has almost zero contact surface with the plate so I didn't want to take the risk). Those took about 45 minutes per piece. The vase was also printed at the same settings and took about 10 hours. All in all about 65 hours including the mistakes and do overs. But they were really happy with it (or the money we put in the vase, dunno )
  15. Taulman3D has started a kickstarter project for their 6 new materials:
  16. I have made this one a week or so ago, but didn't want to publish pictures until we gave it away: My take on a bouquet to give as a present on a wedding. Something that doesn't wither after a couple of days
  17. Zumfab: I am. I am using Roberts feeder though. I haven't been able to get it to work on my original feeder, but some people have apparently. SanderVG mentioned in the past he was able to print ninjaflex out of the box iirc.
  18. I've used it the first days I had the printer, simply because the alternative overwhelmed me as I had no clue what all that stuff meant. About a week or 2 later I switched to advanced and never looked back. But it's a phaze every n00b needs to go through
  19. Good thing, I thought for a sec he was taking it back
  20. There is a http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/forum/47-forum-design-and-system-discussion/ and there is a topic running about it already. In short: Yes, there appear to be problems.
  21. Sander that would be awesome, I will definitely bring it to the meet. I guess we'll see there if I can leave it. I don't mind mailing it but handing it off is way cooler
  22. It would be extremely handy to actually see a modified date for a document, in case someone replaced it by a newer version.
