  1. Please save the project file (File -> Save) and attach the .3mf file to this thread. Thanks.
  2. As a workaround, setting the support stair step height to 0 appeared to help...
  3. Could you please provide the project file? Do File -> Save and attach the .3mf file to this thread. Thanks.
  4. Please save a project file (File -> Save) and then attach the .3mf file to this thread. Thanks.
  5. Hi, you don't need to install it as such, you only need to make it executable. To do that on the command line do cd DIR_WHERE_FILE_IS_LOCATED chmod +x Ultimaker_Cura-4.5.0.AppImage You can probably also do it from your filemanager (perhaps, right click, properties?) Once the file is executable you an either execute it from the command line or from the file manager. Hope this helps!
  6. BTW, the reason it's not retracting on the move from inner to outer wall is because the distance is less than the value of retraction minimum travel. Try reducing that value to below 0.566 mm. There's something weird I spotted, it looks like you are using a negative extra prime value, is that so?
  7. Hi, please attach a project file that illustrates this.
  8. Well, if you're going to do that, you may wish to display the infill pattern too as that is as likely to be changed as the density (IMHO).
  9. Increase the filament diameter so that will reduce the extruded lengths for lines.
  10. It's because the model is tapered and narrower at the bottom. Sorry, I don't have a solution.
  11. Can you please attach the project file?
  12. It's based on the UM master branch heavily modified by my own additions/fixes/bugs. Sorry, I can't take on any more builds, I already spend far too much time on this stuff as it is.
  13. Alternatively, set a smallish value for max comb distance with no retract (i.e. 10 or 20).
  14. Hi @iverstaylot00, glad things have turned out better and that you are enjoying some of the extra that my builds provide. Have a go with the gradient infill sometime, I haven't had much feedback on that yet.
  15. Hi @Mad_Al, can you please share that project that is taking a long time to slice? If so, please do File -> Save and attach the .3mf file to this thread. Thanks.
  16. Actually, the reason I have recently moved to using GLE instead of Open GL on the PI 4 is because in the future, it may well support GLE 3.2 (the HW is capable of it) in which case it will have fragment shaders and it may be possible to use the full layer view.
  17. Yes, well if you had read the README file you would know that the PI 4 doesn't support the Open GL version required for the full layer display. * Due to the version of OpenGL that is supported, the layer display is limited to compatibility mode. * Also due to the legacy OpenGL support, the new "orientate selected face downwards" feature is not available.
  18. What happens now? I don't understand what the problem is.
  19. Hello @Ludenation, have you followed this instruction in the README? Make sure your PI 4 has the libgles-dev package installed (sudo apt-get install libgles-dev).
  20. I can't remember for sure, I've had quite a few offerings rejected. I don't make a big deal about it, just move on.
  21. No, it has already been rejected by the Cura guardians.
