  1. Yes i have. Theoretically the first thing to do would be modifing the existing Nozzle shield so it would actually shield the nozzle from the Air that is meant to cool the extruded material. This would create more flexibility how to design the airflow thus creating the possiblity to bring it nearer to the extruded material improving the printing of overhangs and bridging.
  2. I updated my version of the feeder it is now Version 3.1. Link is in Signature Also i would like to ask all people to share the scad or solidwork files so they can easier be modified by people for specific needs. Like FlexPLA or other cases where changes might be needed.
  4. Just wondering does anybody bother doing the extrusion test with retraction? I just printed that one with 140% Speed.
  5. Einfach mal ein Ticket eröffnen. Ultimaker ist generell sehr freundlich wenn so etwas passiert und schickt dir ein Ersatzteil zu.
  6. Just to give you a part to compare to this is a 5 star quality print
  7. I would say even less.... i tried it with even 90.... still leaves a bit of a string... lets say 80 possible....
  8. i will try a manual version after my actual print is finished. If successfull i will share the steps and hopefully there will later be an automated process, if there are no failures.
  9. Oh i see an elephant foot Aaron we had that topic before. Maybe you can find some wisdom in ye olde thread ;D http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/4094-raised-edges/?hl=edge
  10. Brauchst du nur die Außenansicht? Dann dürfte nämlich schon das Fix Horrible A reichen...... soweit ich weiß schließt Cura aber auch schon von alleine Lücken. Hast du es denn schon einmal ausprobiert?
  11. This wishlist may not be just software wise, but i think everyone whose printer works as intended would agree to it. My personal wishlist for my UM2: - Second extruder - Water-soluble support material - New support mode for the new material (Like a coating where ever it may be needed so you can print freely anything without needing to think about overhang etc. , + settings for the number of layers of coating) - Speed setting for the support -Finer nozzles (~0.2mm) Edit: -Triangular infill because triangles are stronger than squares ;D
  12. The Problem is the right side gets not cooled fast enough.
  13. The problem lies in how the model is built.... try fix horrible A in the expert Settings
  14. That is only natural.... the point in the new feeder was to create less points of contact with the knurled material and more importantly change the Material that would get abrased. You should try out my Spool/ Feederholder. Also a good tip would be to get a tiny tiny tiny drop of oil on the ball bearing. I noticed earlier that it did not spin very good so i lubricated it a bit.
  15. Like that though i have tried 0.02mm once..... you tend to get some real problems with how the plastic behaves at that layer thickness... it is partial unreliable and will give you a worse surface than 0.04mm
  17. Yes i can.... after initial extrusion issues which hindered me to print faster than 3mm³/s, i changed the spool holder, the feeder and made some adjustements to where exactly some components are placed.
  18. Seemingly Temperature was to low and the bed leveling was not perfect. Also the right ear always ands up like this it is normal. Its cooling issues because of how far the fan is away on that side.
  19. How much infill did you use? Are that the points were the Infill connects?
  20. I say it should be usable. When i tested the Original V2 it did not fit. The cut out was not deep enough.
