1. I'd say that Korneels slides contained much more info than the summary. I like the article idea for new people, but most forum users are power users and want all the info. Also @SandervG please mention in the atomic pull tutorial to put the extruder head in a corner. People are going to ruin their machines by having the head in the middle.
2. 1 vid is missing and usefull is actually spelled as useful
3. This is something I hadn't seen in beta, but I like it:
4. This is the most inconvenient way of doing this to be honest. I was specifically looking for it and still didn't see it. As you know on the old forum you could click the robot/dot/thingie on the left. I ended up clicking the last repliers name to go to the last post, scrolling up and navigating a page back to find the new posts. And this:
5. Curious to see how this update is received by you guys
6. How does it compare to colorfabb? Cheaper but same quality filament has been a dream
7. I wanted to orientate my object in such a way for the cooling reason, therefor I can't rotate it :( Also, not sure if this will work or if this is the way it should be, the support seems to float?
8. Is it possible to change the orientation of the support? I have an object I want to print in a certain orientation due to cooling of details/tiny overhangs. However when I print it in that orientation the support is build as 1 straight line up, which at some point trips over the print :( Let me link the file: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:962337 I was trying to test if it would print nicely without overhang first by just lowering the object into the build plate, only printing the top part of the cirkel, but it was quite ugly without support.
9. Actually you can, step 58. That is because UMO's home upwards Yeah, same here, but during printing it seems ok actually! It helps the print stick, although I've heard people swear all kinds of different things work.
11. I've been reading this for a while now, and in my head it summarizes to this Argument: We want a disable autoslice, since it is slowing down everything. @Nallath 's reply :I've tried it, it's not the slicing that slows everything down, looking into what is(or just to much polygons) Reply: But we want disabled autoslicing anyway, since it is slowing down everything. Can you link me to one of the models you experience problems with? I want to play around to experience it myself.
12. Same problem yes. I'm guessing it could be because I adjusted Zaccel and Zspeed once, that that got into EEPROM, because I can't imagine all HBK upgrades have this problem
13. Before fix, one hell of a scary Ultibot: After fix: So smooooth! But still some warping, I guess it's the glue/other things that need to be adjusted still.
14. OMG, I was about to post a question on this. Let me try your solution first I got a funny image of an ultibot coming up.
15. So is this beta version doing the firmware updates the right way, or should we still use legacy Cura for that?
16. Wow, that is some impressive thermodynamics on a print head if it can reach those temperatures easily. But why? Perhaps burning your nozzle clean?
17. win 10, firefox 40.0.3 Now confirmed on another computer: Upon loading a ultimaker.com webpage other than the homepage the sound of my currently playing music dips in to 0 volume and comes back up. Without music there is a static tic
18. What do you think of this? http://3dprint.com/95010/tsa-keys-3d-printed/ Could ofcourse have happened with key filing machines, but with 3d Printing this got a whole lot of more serious.
19. Just Do It^{TM} However, are these slides available @Korneel I forgot to note the timing and temperature of the nylon pull, I thought it was high and then pull at 30?
20. No worries! I'm all set with this bag now:D
21. Thanks @Korneel, @Blizz, @ultiarjan, @SandervG I managed to find an IKEA bag and with that it's a lot lighter and mostly easier to carry. I think I can handle the walk from Utrecht Zuilen. Now I just need to secure if against possible rain and my bike in Delft. Having said that if someone happens to be near Zuilen around half past 5, a ride is always awesome
22. A tempting offer. Probably I'll be able to arrive at Utrecht Zuilen by public transport without to many problems. Would that be a possibility? Or @Blizz, from where are you driving?
23. Don't worry, it was suggested I think about what year and month it was by @daid Also @SandervG, getting ghost notifications again.
24. The thing is @peetersm, cura has always been named for year.month that's why we were at 15.06.x and the beta of 15.10 is coming out(release in october). Though I understand what you are saying, and actually I might agree.
25. I can haz be confused :Oinsert Philosoraptor meme here: Announces open beta 15.10, file says 15.09.80, readme says [15.10.0] Will give it a try after my UMO is in working condition again. edit: I was so happy the screen was back and was hoping for the option to select UMO with HBK, but something is not completely right here I guess:
