  1. LOL, you would need "guru mode" to see everything!
  2. Forget "expert" mode, do "show all settings".
  3. I can assure you that those bridging settings have been in Cura for at least a few versions (arrived with 3.3, perhaps?)
  4. Apart from the fan control for bridges as mentioned above, it's also possible to override the fan for skin layers that are above support. This is good for PETG as you can crank the fan up to 100% when printing a skin above support and this makes it easier to separate the support from the skin.
  5. Hello @MinikPLayer , I turned on the Print Thin Walls feature and it produced lines for those inner regions:
  6. Hi @ahoeben , is this right? If so, please update your plugins as they are very useful and I am missing them greatly 😢 PS - merry christmas!
  7. I think the plugins need to be updated because 4.0 uses a different plugin SDK level (6 rather than 5) and so all but one community plugin are now unusable.
  8. Increasing the skin removal width will reduce the size of those skin areas that are being printed where the slope of the wall is shallow.
  9. Hello @Framar, I'm unsure as to what's happening there but perhaps when you set the infill to 0% it disables the fill gaps between walls feature as well as the regular infill? Those top layers you are referring to are generated by the fill gaps between walls feature and are not regular skin. Incidentally, my Cura releases have a new implementation of the wall gap filling which appears to do a nice job with that model. If you want to try it out you can find the releases at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s43vqzmi4d2bqe2/AAADdYdSu9iwcKa0Knqgurm4a?dl=0 They can be installed alongside the Ultimaker releases without affecting them.
  10. Hello @tryhardcoffee, I looked at your gcode files: cat1 - this is definitely spiralized, the z value alters with every line segment from layer 5 upwards. Perhaps you should reduce the number of bottom layers so that it spiralizes from a lower layer? cat2 - make sure the wall overlap compensation is enabled and set the Minimum Wall Flow to something like 20 and then it should print those walls without doing the return trip. Hope this helps.
  11. Please supply project files that illustrate these issues - we are not mind readers!
  12. Please provide a project file that shows the issue, otherwise there is no way we can help you!
  13. Even better would be a project file.Thanks.
  14. Please attach some sample gcode that exhibits that behaviour. Thanks.
  15. Hello @tomii, yes, it's gone badly wrong hasn't it. There appears to be great chunks of wall missing. I can slice that model using my (modified) Cura and it looks a lot better. Have you tried the 4.0 beta? Perhaps that is better than 3.6? Your gcode looks like this: My gcode (with support added) looks like this: I attach my gcode which is created from your model and profile with support added. UM2_SlottedStem-mb.gcode
  16. It's still possible to drag the middle of the "dumbell" with the mouse but it doesn't retain the focus as far as keys are concerned. Edit: just read that you have already said that, duh!
  17. I think there is a problem with the model, this is what freecad says...
  18. The engine does compute a print time so it could insert a value into the gcode without the help of the front end.
  19. As I can't remember what the settings are called, I normally do show all settings and just accept that I have to scroll up and down a lot.
  20. Hello @dhscord, you may wish to try my master Cura release which has a new implementation of the wall gap filling. You can find the releases at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s43vqzmi4d2bqe2/AAADdYdSu9iwcKa0Knqgurm4a?dl=0
  21. You will get fewer travels if you use a user specified z-seam alignment like this: The sharpest corner z-seam alignment is (mostly) useless.
  22. How about posting a few screen shots or, even better, attaching the project file to this thread?
  23. The master branch is a teaser in that it can provide interesting new features but also interesting new bugs. I try not to include stuff that is obviously not yet usable but, as always, YMVV. I am currently using the new UI and haven't come across any real show-stopping problems yet. Still, it's probably best to wait until the real beta arrives before posting any bug reports.
  24. Hello @Quan, it's hard to see what's happening from your images, could you please save the project and attach the .3mf file to this thread. Thanks.
  25. Ah, understood. In that case you don't need to add the extra skin if you use lines or zigzag for the skin pattern because then the skin should span the hole OK. Using the concentric pattern is a problem, it won't even work using the technique I show above. The easiest way to add the extra skin is designing it into your model when you create it.
