Id recommend Maya. The polygon modeling toolkit is kind of intuitive, and it isnt hard to export models in *.stl format that work fine with Cura.

 

The 3900 EUR price tag makes me a little reluctant, I have to admit.

I've been fiddling with SketchUp but I'll also take a look at MOI and TinkerCad. Thanks for your suggestions.

Landed in Paris CDG a few minuts ago. Looks like I'll work from home tomorrow morning to be able to get the printer.

Got it. The two extra rolls of ABS are missing. Only got blue PLA.

Will start playing with PLA altough I mainly intend to use ABS. I assume ABS rolls will be delivered in the next few weeks (black ABS is in stock though, a little surprised it didn't ship).

I ordered mine on january 31st, got the shipment e-mail yesterday. So that makes 8 weeks til dispatch, I was told 8-10 weeks when I ordered, so fair enough...
