  1. Pink Gears for lady Steampunk Photo frame Decoration!

I cannot sell stuff for various reasons, so I realized a few days ago that there is nothing wrong with making and stockpiling goods for sale later.  To that end I began designing and kranking out these gears.  I happened to have hot pink (magenta) on the spool so I thought lady's gears would be kewl for starters.
The smaller ones have weak small diameter shafts that tend to snap but the larger ones are tuff enuff.  The axle of each has an inward taper at 45 degrees, an axle rising vertically, and an outer taper at 45 degrees.  The vertical segment is of zero length on most how it worked out without realizing it.  I will have to redesign the smaller ones for strength.  This type of axle is a conversation starter because it is easily made with a 3D printer and difficult to make otherwise.
These gears are intended to be paired with a future design effort of an articulated arm.  I enjoy robotic arms and have struggled with the motor and controls of them, not really being happy with my attempts at design.  So it dawned on me to make a non-motorized arm.  The picture frame can mount on the end of the print-in-place arm and maybe up to three arms can fit in a base that gets weighted down or clamped to a table.  In this way the photos are very uniquely presented and the user and/or guest viewer can enjoy moving them about with robotic precision, all Steampunk-ish in the way it interacts and just is so kewl.
That is for the future though, for now I am just beginning with the gears!

  3. Corsair AU1

This are the pictures of the first flights of our Corsair AU-1.
It has a 3D-printed engine cowl and 3d-printed Engine mount
After we had finished the model plane in early spring, we found that center of gravity was way to far back.
We decided to move engine 40mm forward make a redesign of the cowl and saved 600 grams lead in the front.
It is flying very good now and we are so happy.
The shape of the cowl is not perfect, because of that I want to print a second one with slightly different shape.
...of course the final cowl will get a beautiful painting....
The diameter of the cowl is 260mm the height is 230mm, made of 8 pieces
The plane has a 60cc four stroke Radial engine.
Its wingspan is 215cm, it's weight is 12.5kg.

  10. N-Scale (1:160) Bascule Style Draw Bridge Model

A functioning draw bridge in N-Scale (1:160) in the style of a Bascule type. This is a kit that consists of the bridge portion and the lift mechanism. This is a bit of a torture test for a printer.

  11. Tigris of Gaul

Sorry for the lame photo, but I demolished this one experimenting on it a few hours later, lol. Obviously from the Gladiator movie, not perfect but you get the drift. Might do a moving version, if i have time, but this one is all one print, no gluing or construction.

  12. Low Friction Spoolholder (model by Robert)

I loved the concept and design of this spoolholder when I first saw it. I gathered the 626 versions of SKF bearings together with the other materials and after 40 hours of printing all objects I was proud about the end result.
This item is highly recommended for every UM2 user imo...
Objects are printed with Colorfabb standard white PLA on a UM2 with Olsson block and other 3Dsolex upgrades.

  13. SpoolHolders

These are replacement spool holders for the Ultimaker 2 and Ultimaker Go. The one for the UM2 is shorter than the one supplied to keep the spool better positioned with relation to the feeder.
The one for the UM go is a little longer to allow the use of standard 1 kg spools.
Both have a roller to reduce the turning friction (and squeeking) of the spool.

  20. Groovy hand mk2

A hollowed out revised version of the groovy hand now mk2 with details removed to see what it could look like, almost finished the enable version which is basically just new fingers and a revised raptor reloaded main hand. Making cool working hands with fingers and even the prosthetic ones is very time consuming and difficult due to all the joins and width limitations i'm learning a lot of things on the mechanical side of things which is interesting, I had to compromise a lot compared to simple sculpts. The pinky is overlapping in this print but I threw a patina on it as it makes it look older and cooler in my opinion.
Another Colorfabb Dutch Orange for those interested. printed with 0.8 shell which is my new norm compared to 1.2, and hollow with supports. pics above.

  21. +feeder bracket for U2RS

In case you want to keep using the rail system (U2RS) and want to upgrade to the new + feeder I published a simple bracket. Upgrading is pretty easy, specially when you reuse the feeder motor.
Get all parts for the feeder at your local distributor.
Your feeder motor needs to have the D-shaped axis to be able to reuse it.
    - get the feeder parts at you local reseller.
    - Print the bracket
    - Mount the feeder (when you reuse it, the axis of the feeder motor has to stick 10mm out of the small gear)
Upgrade the firmware to Tinker 16.03.1
    https://github.com/TinkerGnome/Ultimaker2Marlin/releases
Change the e steps from E282 to E564, with the fantastic @tinkergnome firmware you do this in preferences/motion settings.
