  1. That has nothing to do with this plugin. Please don’t crosspost unrelated issues.
  2. Are they different printers? If so, what printers?
  3. I figured some people might want to keep the branded materials, and on the other hand some people may not want to disable all other printer profiles but still want to remove all those materials. You mean switching between eg Printers and Profiles? Huh, I did not realize the optimisations influenced that.
  4. The plugin has two main optimisations; not loading the profile files you don’t need, and not loading the non-generic materials. But it also helps with certain broken configurations. It is a bit of a swissarmyknife.
  5. I have a plugin that will let you "remove" all but the generic materials. It does not actually remove them (since the plugin can not "write" to the program resources), but stops them from loading. The plugin is awaiting approval for inclusion in the Marketplace, but you can help me test it here:
  6. @adamrx77 have you tried the plugin?
  7. I'm not quite sure I understand the problem. Could you elaborate what you mean by "I am only able to have one at a time in the manged printers list"? Do you have multiple printers "added" to Cura? Are all your OctoPrint instances listed in the "Connect to OctoPrint" dialog? What version of Cura did you upgrade from? Did you keep your configuration between versions, or did you start over?
  8. There are layers not fully forming because your models are not manifold and need more extensive repair. Your models need to be fixed before they can be reliably sliced. If every single model you import shows the "not manifold" message, then every single model you try is broken / no appropriate for 3d printing.

    UM2+ Firmware

Just because there has not been a tagged release does not mean there are no newer changes. Here are the changes between that tag (15.11) and the default branch: https://github.com/Ultimaker/UM2.1-Firmware/compare/15.11...UM2.1_JarJar The Version_3.3.0 March 15 2018 version is probably based on this commit: https://github.com/Ultimaker/UM2.1-Firmware/tree/34672d2 Changes from that commit to the latest state of the default branch: https://github.com/Ultimaker/UM2.1-Firmware/compare/34672d2...UM2.1_JarJar Default firmwares for the UMO(+) and UM2(+) families are included as .hex files in Cura. See the resources/firmware folder.
  10. Cura stops reverts the temperature to 0 after 15 minutes of preheating. There is currently no way to change this duration.
  11. Hi Uli, I am the creator of that plugin. It is hard for me to tell you what is going on without more details. Could you post a link to your cura.log file? It can be found via the Help -> Show configuration folder... menu item. In the folder that opens, please locate the file named cura.log.
  12. Can you show more of your code? It seems you are trying to access the global container stack before Cura is ready for you to access it.

    UM2+ Firmware

Ultimaker2Marlin is for the Ultimaker 2, UM2.1-Firmware is for the Ultimaker 2+.
  14. Coasting stops extruding a bit before travel moves so pressure in the hotend (or bowden tube) releases gradually and there is less stringing.
  15. For other people finding this thread through a search: there is a preference to use the compatibility mode on the General pane of the preferences.
  16. It is hard to tell from your screenshots what is missing. Perhaps your model is not broken; It could be your model has walls that are to thin. Can you share a link to one of your models?
  17. This is because Cura gets confused by the model. Cura (or actually CuraEngine) does not look at the whole model from the ouside like we do; it makes crosssections (slices) and then tries to determine what is inside and what is outside. Extra walls like yours make it hard (or impossible) to determine what is inside and what is outside by just looking at those crosssections.
  18. There are no holes, but there are "internal faces": See the areas highlighted in green. The bottoms of the cylinders and the tops and bottoms of the struts are closed off. If you would (somehow) pour digital water into the top, it would not be able to flow to the bottom beam.
  19. Ah, apparently this changed in Cura 4.4, and you now have to add a new printer with the definition "Ultimaker 2 with Olsson Block". Once you have added that, you can select the nozzle size in the "Select configuration" dropdown. Fairly well hidden.
  20. Since you are talking about swapping nozzles, I assume you have an olsson block. Did you configure your UM2 in Cura to have an olsson block? In that case there should be an easy dropdown to select nozzle sizes, and 0.8mm is one of them.
  21. Make sure the currently active printer is configured to support 1.75 mm material first. See the extruder tabs in the Machine Settings.
  22. Glad I could help. If next time you could please not cross-post asking the same thing, that would be great. Had I not taken the time to answer both your posts, someone else would have ended up also putting time towards helping you, wasting time.
  23. I think your sketches are meant to be top views? In that case, the lines you don't want are not roofs and floors. Try setting the Support Wall Count to 0.
  24. Check the "Support Wall Line Count" setting. Use the "search" box on top of the custom settings. Try setting it to 0.
