I was at a conference in Sweden, and one woman came to me and said that she decided to buy the UM2 only after it had exchangeable nozzles. I think it was a great complement! I think (same as others do) that even 4.000€ does not buy an overall better printer. It is just fantastic! Only .. there are 3 or 4 know-hows, and the sense of accomplishment when it first worked for me! There are now people in many countries waiting for the stuff which is underway: Belgium (thank you Didier!); France, CH, Spain, Israel, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Croatia, Sweden, Finland, Uk, Ireland, Netherlands, Italy (thanks Andrea!) here some stuff printed with 0.25-040mm

If you print at 60mmS normally, id start with 20 and work from there w temperature and speed. Pla bed 60 and I use glue too.. What the others say looks spot on too!

Good advices! Smart to clean it all out first, like reibuehl says. I would test the teflon coupler WHILE it is in the HOT end. Remove the bowden tube, Choose maintenance advanced, heat up nozzle to 220. Wait 10 minutes (things cannot become worse for you now).. Insert straight filament from the top, PLA, ie perform the "Atomic Method". See if it really slides down through the white coupler...

This winter he photographed the Teflon coupler after ca 300h more than less continuously at 260C. The coupler looked like new. However, if you have a lot of retraction of hot material (+230), then the teflon is adversely affected on the inside. But slowly..

I had this too!! after priming in the SW corner ca 2cm above the glass, it first dips into the blob and tries to carry it to print start. I swore at it and needed to have a print ready and it was a mess and I chased it with tools and tried to remove it "in situ".. NO luck. I fixed it by renewing the FW, I updated the FW again, I also installed Cura. I also re sliced the part. I cannot say what fixed it. Daid: If the bed could stay lower when priming, ie 5cm or more, then it would work better ( not for THIS particular snag), but it would work better always! The gravity would help a lot. Thank you.

Dear Labern! Our Teflon replacement is few weeks away. We are sourcing materials, also with the help of Meduza. Looks like there will be 2 products; Teflon replica, but not glass filled, low price, and a version made from "impossibilium", which we hope will outlive your printer. We need to test friction and machineability, high price. I had the same problem like you, needed a new Teflon piece. I ordered several from alichina, and sent one to UltiArjan in the forum. He had a massive leak, and i was my fault. These cheap couplers have the following flaws: 1) Its not the right Teflon 2) They are not flat on all surfaces 3) Dimensions are wrong. When He inserted the one I wanted to help him with, there was a small, undetectable gap between the teflon piece and the hot-end-top-end (I avoid mentioning Olsson Block here), gap because the teflon piece was 20 microns to big diameter and did not fully insert into the SS coupler, the one with the radial holes in it. There is a massive leak, like nothing you have ever seen. The nozzle looked like an upside down soft-ice. So, your option is to ask UM to send you one which they will, or wait a few weeks. Our High End Coupler will cost more than the original ones, and the low end ones will cost less.

Korneel! All the nozzles we have now are E3D ones. The "JET"s are not available yet. We have a number of engineering changes after inspecting the samples. I use an engineering firm in Japan, and things take some time. It is not possible to say when they will be ready. Sorry!
