  1. We're about to overhaul the analytics system in Digital Factory. We'll take this as input for improving the functionality. I can't tell anything about exact features or timelines as I'm not the one juggling the backlog.
  2. @Cuq It seems you are signed in and the Marketplace is filtered on verified (security-checked, Essentials plugins). Are you in fact an Essentials customer or is something going wrong there?
  3. On the current firmware release this is not possible. You could put a firewall in front of the printer (or separate it in a subnet) to prevent access to the web UI. In the Essentials IT admin learning course this is explained in more details.
  4. Hi, Would you be able to extract the logs from the printer to a USB drive and upload them here (or send them to me in a private message)? Then I can hopefully see what's going on. Chris
  5. Another update: we have deployed a potential fix to our production cloud environment that should work without firmware changes. Please monitor your connected printers the coming days to see if the issue is not occurring anymore, and please let me know if it still does!
  6. We're now actively trying to reproduce and fix this issue. Will let you know in this thread if we have any results. Please keep sharing logs if you have any available.
  7. Please upload or send me the printers logs so I can attach these to our internal ticket. The more we know, the faster we can fix it!
  8. That'd be great. We have created an internal ticket for this problem as well, I expect it to be picked up soon, but likely a firmware release is needed to deploy a fix to the field.
  9. HIPS is also not supported by Ultimaker printers, so even though the generic HIPS profile is in the Marketplace (for other purposes) you won't see it when you have an Ultimaker selected.
  10. Mm that's not supposed to happen. Can you export the logs to USB from the settings menu and send them to me via private message? After that you can try rebooting the printer to see if the webcam icon appears again. Chris
  11. Hi all! With the Cura 4.7.0 Beta, I have updated the ThingiBrowser plugin to support that new version and add some other new functionalities like an improved sign-in flow for MyMiniFactory. You can see the full release notes and download the .curapackage at https://github.com/ChrisTerBeke/ThingiBrowser/releases/tag/v2.2.0. To install simply drag the package file onto the build plate. After a short testing period I will also release this version (with maybe some bug fixes if needed) on the Marketplace. Cheers! Chris
  12. Hi, Thanks for the additional information. I've been looking through our system and can't find anything particular with an interval of 2 minutes. Could you send me the logging of the printer in question? You can dump the logs to a USB drive from the settings menu. You can send them to me in a private message if you want. Chris
  13. Hi, The Ultimaker App is quite old and not updated with remote functionality via the cloud. You can use the mobile webview however via https://digitalfactory.ultimaker.com, we try to make everything look nice on all screen sizes. For quick access you could pin that page to your home screen? Chris
  14. Finished my investigation. Some user accounts were incorrectly marked as Essentials customer by accident, causing all non-verified (security audited) plugins to be filtered out when signed-in to the Marketplace. The team is working on resolving this, so you should be able to see the Thingibrowser, and all other plugins, again in a short while. Please let me know if this is not yet the case by the end of the day.
  15. It should be available for Cura 4.0 and later, I'll investigate.
  16. Webcam images are now available in the cloud (with a 10-second interval)! If you install the latest Ultimaker S3 or S5 firmware you will see the webcam icon appear in the Digital Factory.
  17. The cloud-based Digital Factory currently supports all the features that Cura Connect had in the local network, with the exception of printer analytics (but this in progress). You need the latest firmware for S3 or S5. UM3 has limited support due to the lower frequency of firmware updates for that (older) machine. All our cloud-based products have APIs though, so data that might not be visible in our user interfaces yet might be available in an API, and you could hook up your own front-end to it.
  18. Hi, Sorry to hear you're having some issues with the latest release. In general I advice not to group printers in the local network anymore because of a whole range of issues that can occur related to local network configuration. We've noticed that its much stabler to connect printers to the Digital Factory individually. Sometimes these issues are caused by a bug on our side, but sometimes also by a customers' network configuration that is not fully supported by our printers. Secondly, the more printers you have grouped, the more performance is required of the host printer, which can cause performance issues if the printer is also printing (the printing process always has the highest priority on the embedded Linux board). If you can properly work with both printers separately connected to Digital Factory I suggest you keep that configuration. We are planning to introduce more virtual grouping features in Digital Factory at some point as well. Chris
  19. Hi, Do you have a Kyma material spool loaded on the printer? And if so, which material did you select on the printer during the filament loading process?
  20. I'll relay that suggestion to the Digital Factory development team, Thanks!
  21. The logs contain the following line of interest: ERR - stardust:144 - WebSocket error: gaierror(-2, 'Name or service not known') A gaierror is thrown when a hostname is not valid during a DNS request. Is there anything in your local network that might influence DNS routing? If not, a reboot or factory reset of the printer might solve it.
  22. Great to hear that you're up and running again. For anyone still having this problem, please share some logs with us so we can investigate the root cause and fix the problem permanently.
  23. No worries. Addressing these issues with IT admins is precisely why we created Ultimaker Essentials which, next to a controlled environment for IT, also contains a lot of knowledge and e-learning about security and networking topics. Maybe your IT department will find it useful, and it's free to try. If there's further questions from the IT department I can help you with let me know, we'd very much prefer you to keep printing the 21st century-way!
