My mate coated in copper varnish.

copper varnish mix coating applied. look kinda like clay!!
Was very poor quality print so the thick layer masks it quite nicely. have loads more to do but experimenting on the one with most lines in them.

Metal coating tests gone wrong but look interesting anyway.

Iron and Copper tests, with only one coat and no processing, i.e. painted and left no post work on the coatings. will play with washes and drybrushing later. copper looks very much like clay!! for those interested.

Raptor hand by e-Nable

I printed this hand for a girl in our neighbourhood. She's as cute a 6 year old as you can find. She has one hand with, and the other without fingers. We printed here a "new" hand that she can now show off to people. Immediately she could pick up and hold things. Her range of motion was still quite limited. When the physician that was treating her changed the Velcro straps, she could really use it much better.

Structural Model

All printed in PLA. The blue part is a solid (20% Infill, 50mm/s) 'rigid core' to secure all horizontal forces and it forms the main load-bearing-element of the structure. The whites are only trusses, beams, girders and windbracings.
