  1. Indeed they are unfamiliar to me, but I would love to hear about them
  2. ghost notifications are still a fact of life unfortunately.
  3. It is on the dashboard, 6th block down on the right.
  4. photoshopping your way in the leaderboard doesn't work
  5. No problem. Happy to hear it has probably been solved! Enjoy your Ultimaker
  6. Do you usually remove the SD card safely? Can you recognise a consistency in your failed prints? If I understand it correctly, there is no temp error or temp bed error in your screen? If your Ultimaker says Printer Cooling down it doesn't look like a power glitch, or a mechanical thing. But a Cura issue.
  7. Not a solution, but as a workaround I usually use my Ultimaker screwdriver to open the clips. Very easy to stick in there, and you don't feel a thing!
  8. What printer do you have? Could be motor, bearings, unstable Zstage.. having a cheap printer. It all counts.
  9. hmmm, let me check because I don't know. You also said you never got any emails. We implemented a fix today. Could you double check if your settings are enabled for email and let me know if you receive emails? Thanks!
  10. Did you change anything to your cookie or browser settings?
  11. hahaha! Congratulations @Electromu! Did you also feed it some special filament to celebrate? I knew about the song-application, but the fan blowing out the candle was a great touch and the confetti was the figurative speaking cherry on the cake!! I'll forward this to our department, I'm sure they'll love it!
  12. Hi Marcus, thank you for getting involved with the community! For future references, try to bundle your questions in 1 or 2 posts. If you are curious, you can find more information about the community here. You can find our houserules here. Exactly today, we are implementing a fix to improve the email notifications. For most servers the emails arrive, but some don't. From your messages I assume yours don't too. Lets see if tomorrow the emails do arrive. If you bookmark a topic, you can find them here. (click your forum-name, in the dropdown you'll see several options. Amongst them; 'Bookmarks'.)
  13. lol, sounds like I'm a dealer @Kelechi, if you look at Nallath and my name you'll see 'Team Ultimaker'. This is an indication that we are Ultimaker employees. Anyway, if you want to apply as a reseller you can do that through this form. (it can be found on the Reseller page). Good luck!
  14. @designmaketeach, this looks like something right in your alley
  15. Hi Max, I was wondering if you managed to solve this issue already? Do you have an Ultimaker Original or an Ultimaker 2? Are you attempting to print over USB? Looking forward hearing from you!
  16. Hi, have you changed anything to the feeders tension? Do you have this immediately when you start printing, or after a while into the print? Have you tried different reels of filament? Could be there is something wrong with this specific reel of filament.
  17. What do you use underneath whatever you cut? And wow, super cool!!
  18. Whichever scale you find appropriate. I printed mine at 0.7 scale (in Cura). And it needs to be a challenge no?
  19. Have you ever checked the bearings that are on the 2 thicker rods on the back? Maybe there is something going on with those, (or one of them).
  20. Thank you for your post. Originally I thought I was gonna read a proposal to put an Ultimaker on every startup company @Nallath, do you know if anything is changed to 15.06.03 version? The version you are running is listed under Beta. As an alternative you could try an older version of Cura, like 15.04.3 I don't think this has anything to do with your firmware. Do you keep the USB plugged in or do you remove it after updating the firmware?
  21. 'If I'm wrong, I kindly ask someone from Ultimaker, e.g. @SandervG, to correct me.' Nope, you are right. It is an unauthorized clone.
  22. Hi, I didn't understand your entire message, or more precisely your train of thought (why is 14.09 not right for Ultimaker 2 Extended?) Anyway, if you have an Olsson Block and it triggers temp errors i could be that either you broke your PT100 or cartridge heater, or your heaterblock is touching your fanshroud. This can function as a heatsink and guide the heath away. When your heaterblock takes to long to reach its temperature it can trigger a temp error. Remove the fanshroud and see if there is anything black, try to calibrate it so it doesn't touch it, or if necessary bend the fan shroud a little bit. Good luck!
  23. What did you mean here, to cover the print with MDF or fineer? As I said I don`t have where to buy wood filaments in my country, that sucks. Good to know about their sandability, I suppose to bring some wood filaments in my next trip to Europe or EUA. He meant that the look of woodfill, when it comes out of the Ultimaker kinda resembles MDF.
  24. This is an example of what an entry should look like.
