  1. Hi Pirax, Could you send me your order number? Thank you!
  2. Hi Laurent, Thank you for your reply. Looking in our communication system I see we have been in touch before in regard of your fan and you have now been in touch with my colleague. The response time has always been within 1-2 days with an exception of the last reply. I understand it can be frustrating to have a stubborn technical problem, but we are here available to help you and get back to trouble-free printing, just as the community. GR5 has some good tips which I recommend you try. It is no problem for us to send you a new teflon isolator, but by my understanding Marrit will also offer you the service of picking up your Ultimaker and have it repaired by us. If you have any further questions on how to proceed please feel free to ask. Thank you for your time,
  3. Hi Naz, I am sorry to hear about your experience with Ultimaker. I remember we spoke when you just got your Ultimaker and we replaced it because it had some difficulties. After the replacement I do not remember speaking to you again, have we? If you are still experiencing difficulties please get in touch with me or the technical support team so we can offer you our assistance and turn your experience into a more positive one. We do not ever want to leave our users in the dark, and if you have an Ultimaker 2 sitting there doing nothing I think we should work together to get it back to printing. I am looking forward hearing from you!
  4. Hi LaCarpe, I am sorry to hear you are having difficulties with your Ultimaker. But I am sure it is nothing we can not solve. What you are showing on the video is normal behavior. You have just loaded new material and the feeder is pushing material forward until it extrudes. You can extrude a couple of centimeters until the 'old' color is out of the printhead and in your case you only see Ultimaker blue coming out. The fact that it skips steps is because the motor has been tuned so instead of grinding through the filament, it skips so your filament doesn't get destroyed. The proper workflow would be to hit Ready and the skipping stops. Go to Print and start a print. If your Ultimaker is calibrated correctly, which I assume it is, and you print with normal settings like 100 micron/50mm/s/210ºC you shouldn't have the skipping. Could you let me know how this works out for you? Thank you
  5. Hi Andrea, To follow up on your post, I just got off the phone with iMakr and they told me they have repaired your Ultimaker and it is ready for pick up. I think they handled it rather professionally and hopefully you can get back to 3D printing asap. If you have any further remarks or questions, please feel free to contact them or our own support team. We would be happy to help. Thank you and have a great day!
  6. in my opinion, it is worth the money. I have used a macbook pro for close to 7 years, didn't crash once. And for some reason I never really felt like I understood windows..
  7. Hi Andrea, Without hijacking this topic, could you send me a DM with some of the difficulties you are having? Perhaps through technical support and some trouble shooting I will be able to help you. Thank you!
  8. I see you are printing with PLA. With PLA you do not necessarily need glue or hairspray. What you need is a bedtemp of 65-75º, printing temp of 220º and a speed of approx 30mm/s If your print got detached from the platform, another reason can be that perhaps your first layer was just too far off the bed. Can you take a picture of your first layer? Can you re-level your bed and try to put it just a little bit closer to the print head?
  9. Hahaha! good one. I have used the Oculus Rift once, it was really amazing. I only played one map with a house in a garden and you could walk around and up and down the stairs. I am super excited to see what this new technology will bring. A little while ago I read that they were also developing some kind of bowl where you could walk around in for the true shooter experience, however I have doubts that will catch on. Just as with the wii (and the fact most games were super-lame) I think most people just like to chill out and play games, and not do exercise. I never played games on my pc but I did have a Nintendo 64 as a kid. Men, did I play the hell out of Mario Kart, Perfect Dark and later on TimeSplitters. I did also play wolfenstein.. .. stupid dogs!
  10. You could also try to reduce the acceleration a little bit for the Ultimaker 2. But it also looks like you might be over-extruding just a little bit. - Does it also feel a bit rough? For 30mm/s I think you could lower the temp a little bit more. But in all fairness, the print doesn't look bad at all, in fact it looks pretty good! (but that can also be the professional model stealing the show! )
  11. This topic is taking a turn for the worst! LOL haha
  12. I think the robot is about 18cm in size. And yes.. it is a solid print
  13. Hi Vilma, No worries please feel free to ask. It does not have to be 3D-printed, but there is a special price for 3D printed designs. How do you mean if the item can be edible?
  14. Maybe next print you can print an iPhone cover for protection
  15. lol the sound kinda reminds me of an old ship or something, with a lot of squeeks. Perhaps a damaged bearing?
  16. Hi all, Thank you all for your feedback on the forum. My apologies if any of you have still have some parts missing from their original order. For a while we have had some difficulties with the filaments we had on stock. We kept sending out the Ultimaker because we did not want people to wait for their Ultimaker any longer then possible. You can imagine, over a period of several weeks this results in quite some back orders and documentation. We are shipping out back orders based on first in first out, if you still have some filaments missing please send me your order number and I would be happy to check the status and set the wheels in motion so you would have your missing reels asap. @ Abdel, I see you have been in touch with my colleague and within communication is a gap of 2 weeks. In your latest email you say to have send several emails with pictures however I see now trace of these. Perhaps the attachments were too big and they did not come through? Anyway, my apologies for the inconvenience. If you could send me your order number in a DM I can look into your order and work towards a solution for you asap. Thank you. @ Andrew, I see right after your post you have been in touch with Marrit and she is going to ship you a replacement heated bed. Please keep me posted if you have any further questions or if you need any further help. @ Eldrick, thank you for your reminder. Today I will come back with you with a solution for your glass plate. I understand the frustration because it took a couple of days longer then I initially figured. My apologies for the inconvenience. Hopefully with these efforts your needs will be met and everyone can continue their happy printing-time!
  17. Hi CarinaC, At the end; do you mean near the print head or at the feeder? At the feeder: Remove the horse shoe, push down the bowden tube coupler and pull out the bowden tube. You should now be able to get the piece of filament. Near the print head: Basically the same. Remove the horse shoe, push down the bowden tube coupler and pull out the bowden tube. Remove the filament and push the bowden tube in all the way again. Make sure it is not stuck on the edge of the teflon part. Push it down, put back the horse shoe. Pull it up once more and push it down again to make sure it is stuck. Can you show on a picture where the broken piece of filament is?
  18. You can just show up, bring your Ultimaker if you want
  19. If the clothespin is not wider then the sliderblock, and I think it isn't it shouldn't hit into the pulleys. If you install it exactly in the middle when the sliderblock is in the middle as well you should be safe. In regard of the actual problem (which was not fitting on a belt tensioner). Doesn't this remind anyone of an inaccuracy we had with Cura a while back in the UMO days? The way it calculated wall thickness in combination with nozzle size sometimes created similar gabs. I believe Simon was also involved in the solution and a detailed write up.
  20. Hi MetalCrowe, I am sorry for your stressful experience so far. Could you send me your ordernumber so I can look what is going on and start knocking some heads? My apologies for the delay, but lets focus on getting your order shipped asap so you can start working on the dual extrusion! Thanks and I am looking forward hearing from you.

  22. Hi Guys, I am sorry to hear it has been so difficult getting your order shipped or even getting an accurate answer. @Anon, can you send me the ordernumber in a DM so I can make sure it will be shipped asap? @Useless, I see you have an Ultimaker Original order with us. We expect to ship them out again this week. Late last week we received some parts we had short on stack, and this week we will ship again. I will keep you posted about the progress.
  23. Hi Xisle, Thank you for your post. I am very sorry it has been so difficult to get an appropriate shipping date from us or even get your order completed at all. I have send an email to my colleagues from the sales team and they will contact you to sort out the details and have your remaining order shipped out this week. My apologies for the inconvenience and troubles this has caused. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask and I would be more then happy to help.
  24. Hi Stefan, What about using the iron part of a clothespin? I always thought that worked the best, and you can put it on upwards or downwards. In one of the first posts I read about a suggestion of trying an older version of Cura. Anyone tried it already? Did you update it recently? Or FW?
