Well, if the last-post-link-does-not-lead-to-last-post-bug is fixed, then it was...

Yes, profiles are still not working properly.

@fseider: Welche Retract-Einstellungen hast Du denn aktuell?

Try a heated chamber, i.e. close the front with something isolating. Interlayer adhesion should improve.
-
@gr5, you must have an awful PLA then. The PLA I use is certainly more flexible and less brittle than NGen. For instance, the filament guide of the Robert feeder: printed in PLA = no problem; printed in NGen = breaks at once when tried to be mounted. For being fair, I used the same color (black).

#define DEFAULT_Kp 13.85#define DEFAULT_Ki 1.54#define DEFAULT_Kd 31.09
-

Nice. It asks for more as you know:
Always two there are...well I don't know this specie.... but it appears not to have the ability to procreate
Not exactly what I meant...

On the hydrophilic side the water sticks together, whereas on the hydrophobic side the water disperses.
Or the other way round...

I didn't see this as I rarely use the change function. Usually I remove the old material by a cold pull and use the insert material option from the advanced menu to load the new filament. Afaik even the newest firmware does not ask for the material there before loading (I'm currently using the latest Tinker-Firmware).
-
It would be indeed better if the firmware would ask for the new material before loading. Maybe this is something for @Tinkergnome?

Sounds as if the configuration is not set for an Ultimaker Original+. Best thing you can do is to compare the configuration.h of this special Marlin version with the configuration.h from the UMO+ repository line by line. There are special apps for this, e.g. Winmerge for Windows user. Make sure the configuration.h selects the correct components for e.g. display (Ulticontroller), for the board (Ultiboard 2.x) etc.

47 is the motor length. 168 stands for 1.68A which is the one that UM uses. However, the first two letters stand for the manufacturer, so you can have anything there.
-
Ultimaker printers don't do that; at least not if their gcode is sliced by Cura.
But you could try to place a rectangular object with the height of your first layer, the width of your nozzle and the desired length onto the print bed. Maybe you have to fiddle around a bit to get it printed first. And you have to switch off skirt.

Maybe the trick with the freezer works too for the sheets?

@Xeno: I don't want to question your process of decision, but shouldn't the question in this case be whether an existing printer can match your needs or not?
So if the UM2+ can everything you need buy some of them. If not, you may have to consider even other printers than the Ultimaker (Ultimaker will maybe hate me for this - sorry guys). It's not a bad thing for a company to buy products which exist some time on the market and have less flaws than a brand new product (the version .0 effect). Waiting for the new product is rather a prosumer thing I think.
Maybe you can also split the order? Buying 5 now and 5 later? You certainly can raise the topic of volume discount with 10 machines.

Which filament is already melting at 130 °C?
