About that unread-button-does-not-lead-to-unread-post issue: The funny thing is, that on that german topic "Dual extruder einstellen" I'm led to top of page 16 on my laptop and to top of page 11 on my mobile; using Firefox on both of them.
-
Actually, you could do the printing in even less time than 20 seconds as a machine with 1.21GW power is a time machine by (Hollywood-)definition...

Looks like we'll all need fusion reactors
Why 'need'? You don't have one yet? After the first posts about Ultimaker3 demands appeared here on the forum I immediately bought a fusion reactor to be on the safe side for future.

I need durable outdoor objects, and I use all different materials, most of them are printed at 250-280°C, which original UM2 hotend can handle but only for short time before PTFE burns out. If UM2 could handle 24/7 printing @280°C I would have no need for other heat end.
Ever tried the TF2K coupler from 3dSolex with your UM2? It allows continuous printing at 300°C.

What printer do you have? An Ultimaker Original with dual extrusion upgrade?
In legacy Cura, go to the machine settings and adjust the second extruder by the x and y offset you'll find there. There are a few designs on Youmagine and Thingiverse which allow for proper dual alignment.

The unread message referral is still under investigation. We've looked at it, but it is difficult to replicate. If someone experiences it again, could you right click the notification, copy the link address and share it with me? We will continue in the meantime, but this information would probably help.
This notification just took me to the top of the page in that thread, and the last entry is not separated from the old posts with the "new posts" separator. So unless you look at the timestamp of the post you won't, easily, recognize what you have not read.

My notification said there were 4 unread and took me to the top of page 50, when I got to page 51 there was no line separating read from un-read.

Got a notification for one unread post but the other details are the very same as for @peetersm

@nallath: Oohh... if you continue like this, Cura is really becoming a usable application...
Seriously: That's pretty cool. What about extending those meshes to more settings? I think e.g. of a replacement for the old RetractWhileCombing plugin. Would be very interesting, what do you think?

This thread currently goes to page 50 for me.
Edit: Win10+Firefox and Android 4.3+Firefox

I never doubted you would find a way. I just was convinced hitting the switch laterally wouldn't work well. Nice solution!

Definitively not an Ultimaker part.

And I still have a lot of 'unread' links which lead to anything but the first unread post.
Like what? Page 1? Top of the page? Do you click these unread links from different tabs when maybe you have multiple Ultimaker-tabs open?
They lead to maybe the previous page, maybe a few pages before. On the thread "Ultimaker 2 Dual Extruder einstellen" (german subforum) it leads always to the top of page 11 since that page exists. Most of the time (98%) I have only one Ultimaker tab open.

The UM2GO should be equipped with a TFM or TFT isolator for high temperatures and with a heated bed. An Olsson or Matchless block with a 35W heater is of advantage.
So a standard UM2GO is not well suited for Nylon and PC.

Well this idea it's dead. It works for me because I can realign the bed fast but it clearly misses to hit the same spot. The error it's around 0.05-0.08 on both directions. So, I'll move the endstop to the bottom, make an adapter to avoid cutting holes and voilà.

-
@frederiekpascal: @SandervG is on holidays as far as I know.
Maybe you want to check ideato3d.be, the webshop of @DidierKlein, who is a 3dSolex reseller. The TFT from 3dSolex is equivalent to the TFM from Ultimaker. Just for the case you don't easily get the TFM.
-
You may google the Ultimaker corporate design manual.
-
Well it would need some adapting parts to mount an Olsson block to an UMO+. However, mounting the complete UM2+ head from the upgrade kit as @Neotko did is maybe much easier.

Uhm - which of the two plugins you mentioned in the title are you actually referring to?
