I live in Tilburg and it has barely been below 0ºC.
It felt very weird last week when it was freezing in the North and schools were closed where only a few km south my windshield didn't even freeze in the morning
And I live close to Antwerp and this is how my garden looks like today

Awesome drummer that I was linked to today. Sounds like he will go offline soon though. Plays video game music and random requests.
In the belgian Ardennes we had something like 40cm in one day, it's exceptionnal to have so much snow but cool for me i could stay at home and not drive with all the silly people who don't have winter tires
An interesting interview of Ultimaker CEO Jos Burger and CTO Siert Wijnia
I see we are competing against each other in the Time-lapse contest. May the best lapse win
Yes i watched your yesterday it's great mine was done in a rush and my video editing skills are weak (i also was bothered by a massive power shutdown this weekend due to the snow )
Oh no.
You have a really good idea that heaps of people really like so i think you will do well.
We'll see it's mainly for fun that i participate but if i can do better than the previous contest (i finished on second place) then it's all good the price is pretty attractive
Haha, I'm "competing" too. Too much rush to produce something nice.
That death trooper is amazing! Like how the time-lapse is setup there
Yeah it is pretty impressive.
Wow 2nd. that's cool. I would be really happy even if I got 3rd
Omg, Labern, that canon is yours!? That has to be top 3! I love it! The details, and how did you polish the canon?
For good reason:

Did I miss people?
Great video`s everyone!
Here are all videos so far for the challenge:
There are lots of Ultimakers among them - cool!
I clicked through a few and this one had a very clever idea for the timelapse (print head moves away and pushes button to snap a picture of the print):
yes i love that one it seems even more magical than usually
Let's see if any of us make it to the second round (Colorfabb is selecting the 10 best and then will do a vote)
Didier you will be in the second round for sure!
I think that Death Trooper will get lots of votes. It's different, looks really cool and every one loves star trek

Little bit of sanding then rubbed with steel wool followed by Brasso.
But that rock tumbler in the skull time lapse looks like a good way to go.
star trek
Ouch!
star trek
Ouch!
Finally joined 3D hubs and got my first order today, printing as we speak! I like the idea of 3D hubs, but some people just cant design for printing lol. I think the time spent dealing with the client via email, with image and suggestions etc, means we will make no money at it haha

Here are some photos of a Chainmail sphere in progress. It's from a design I created ten years ago and thankfully the writeup is still available. The plan is to write an updated tutorial with some e
