  1. on the filament just above the grinded area you also see where the remains stack up. This may also be a problem in your bowden tube, when at some point it does decide to get a grip and continue to feed. Whether by manual push or all by it self. What is the tube you are holding? The bowden tube? If you cut off so much, you probably need a new one.. If I imagine it correctly, instead of disassembling the entire feeder, remove just the bowden tube from the feeder by removing the horse shoe, push in the white tube holder/tightner and pull out the bowden tube. It is much easier and faster.
  2. Het voelt bijna ongemakkelijk om in het Nederlands te posten
  3. Are you sure on those numbers? I actually thought XT had a higher glass transition temperature. I know from Colorfabb it is odor free and it is food-safe. It is also suppose to be 50 times stronger then PLA. It is also good with bridging. I was shown this impressive 12 cm bridge on an UM2.
  4. Hi Woofy, you are speeding ahead! The crash was luckily/..unfortunately ( ) not as spectacular as the title made it sound. Of course by all means you should do whatever you want to do, but I was hoping we could do this as a group project and we could all benefit from the amazing wide range of skill sets we have in this community
  5. Already ahead of you Of course I wish it shouldn't be necessary but sometimes our replies are not as fast as they should be. Actually Dim3nsioneer is quite accurate how ever the R&D team moving does not directly affect our sales team. We did just came out of the most crazy month of the year, where in September and beginning October there are about 6 shows we attend and have to organize. Now it is time to get back on our feet and work our way to the backlog. Anyway, I will make sure you will get a reply soon. Thank you for your time, patience and understanding. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
  6. Yes, this month. Upcoming sunday! @ Robert.. I am not calling anyone fat.. but I hear some don't work out as much as others...
  8. Ever wanted to meet the heavy weight Ultimaker Guru's? Ever wanted to see what sparkling persons go behind the avatar's? Ever wanted to drink a beer with those who have helped many of us? You can! Ultimaker has invited Illuminarti, Gr5, IRobertI, Paul C. en Luis R. to the Ultimaker HQ and do a meet up with the R&D team and see some of the beauties that Holland has to offer. This means on Sunday 26th we will be in Utrecht to do a high beer and this is an open invite for you in the area to drop by and have a beer with us and meet us. Depending on the possibilities from the location I plan on starting at 3pm. The location has yet to be decided, but it will be in Utrecht. Looking forward seeing you there, and I would appreciate it if you could let me know below if you plan on dropping by. See you there!
  9. the title says SLS - Nylon - PLA. By that logic + adding the comment ' The Ultimaker is doing a great job….' I am inclined to think that the far right is printed on the Ultimaker.
  10. haha but I can't take my caravan with me to the US, so the wheels won't benefit me. Perhaps I could go for a tent.. but for some reason I think I won't be taken that seriously anymore when the mailman has to shove my mail underneath the zipper Nahh.. I am pretty happy with my house. It is good to have a nice place to go home to
  11. I don't know if anyone noticed I haven't been around as much lately but I have also been super busy. When we got back from the Maker Faire NYC I went to Baltimore with Erik de Bruijn, to participate in the e-NABLE conference. It was so inspiring to be there, all the families building these prosthetics and to see that great community in play. Anyway, when we got back to the Netherlands, the day later I got the key to my new house so I have been busy moving and doing some work around the house. It is coming together pretty nice.. I have a couch.. an internet connection.. a desk for my Ultimaker. What else does one need eh? Tomorrow I am leaving for the 3D Printshow in Paris where I will also meet Didier. Looking forward meeting him. Is anyone else going as well? Anyway, from then on I will be more active again on the forums! For starters I want to get that multi-copter in second gear! How has everyone else been doing?
  12. Hi All, A little while back we met Susan from Bhold and we were surprised to see the numerous innovative and clever ideas she has produced and made using 3D printing. During our conversation we felt we could all benefit from a collaboration. Not just Bhold and Ultimaker, but also you guys! Together with Bhold we are going to design a new product and we want to get you guys involved in prototyping and testing of these products. You can be the first one to get involved in new designs and can contribute by giving your feedback to support improvement. More information and subscription can be found http://bhold.co/pages/labs The corresponding blog post can be found https://www.ultimaker.com/blogs/news/2014/09/30/crowdsourced-design-made-possible-by-3d-printing Enjoy!
  13. whoops, you are right! So many machines out there (with similarish names..)
  14. I believe https://www.youtube.com/user/barnacules1 has both Ultimaker and Robox. He should be able to give some more insights..
  15. Oliver, do you need any further assistance or did you already get some feedback?
  16. Hi kouvadaki, I am sorry about the difficulties you have had with the support department and getting a reply. I just went through my messages and I did find a thread where we exchanged a couple of messages about your situation. It has happened before that just as Nallath mentioned, the money is still with Adyen but we will help you track it down. The reason I did not reply sooner is because your last message (to me) was send on October 1, and that is the day I got back from Maker Faire NY, and I got the key to my new house. I am in the middle of moving since, and I also don't have internet yet at home. I don't know if you care, but some background info why I haven't replied sooner. Due to the same reason as I mentioned above I also haven't been in the office but I will send out an email to my colleagues to find out what the status is today. If there is anyway I/we can help, I would be very happy to. Edit; I just looked through the general communication system and I see your money already turned up just a day after your last post and your Ultimaker already has been delivered. Reason, due to the error your payment was send through without a reference making it very hard to track down. I am glad everything is resolved.
  17. Isn't that a character from a movie Makerbot has dips in? They first launch the characters and the movie comes later? I believe I read about it.
  18. You should bring it with you to the Ulti-evening if you are coming
  19. @ Titus, everyone from Ultimaker is equally skilled on the UMO as well, so if you have any questions just ask! And what blizz said, and also because most have build the UMO, so there is less of a barrier to take it apart if needed. It is just a different experience then the UM2. About the spare parts, if you want to order some let me know. For the 'tutorial', we will probably just bring some.
