What I did was resize/crop/cut them in photoshop.

No special advice I am afraid... Just wait until the colour runs out. By turning the feeder by hand. Dark colours can take a while, indeed. A higher temp then normal helps also. Design yourself a nice ring or bracelet, fading colours can have a nice affect .

Dan zal ik het nog eens even aankijken, er moet ook eerst nog maar eens wat verkocht worden uit de printer, tis wel de bedoeling dat ie in zijn eigen levensonderhoud voorziet . Wanneer je die kit in het 'wild' wil uitproberen, hou ik me aanbevolen.... Zoals Daid zegt, zit het misschien niet in die motoren op zich, maar het is een prachtige klankkast. In de machinebouw wordt vaak anti-dreun plaat gebruikt om de resonanties eruit te halen. Een soort zwart pek- bitumenachtig zelfklevend materiaal van een paar mm dik wat je ertegen plakt. Maar in jou Lexan printerkast zal het niet zo mooi staan..... Je zou er misschien nog wel wat extra lexan ribben op de grote oppervlakten kunnen plakken....

Nog een slijtdeel voor in de shop, Houten zijkanten voor de feeder, die waren ingesleten zodat de draad tussen rolletje en zijkant schiet. Ze zijn 1 keer te spiegelen, zodat je de andere kant kan gebruiken. Maar die zijkanten mogen ook in het lijstje slijtdelen.. Die van de dual extruder feeder zijn iets langer en nog niet versleten :( maar dat komt ooit ook nog, hoop ik. Groeten Kees

An Ulticontroler is worth it's money! as an update or extra it beats the dual extruder by far. You can control the flow on the fly... (handig).

Keep us in the loop please :-P Designing or printing the printhead would not be a big problem. as mechanical guy, my worries are in the electronics and marlin. When somebody has all that sorted out, I like to know. Perhaps there is money in it for one who makes a kit?

vanmiddag heb ik hard SANDER via een PM geroepen misschien dat ie dat leest. Ik zou het zelf wel handig vinden als zulk soort prutsjes in de shop te bestellen waren. Als je ze snel nodig hebt zijn ze moeilijk te vinden en op het plaatselijke industrie terrein voor een particulier heel duur. waarschijnlijk ook nog wel iets op te verdienen :-P

Using an Um1 with ulticontroller its easy, with Pla choose the 'change filament' option in he ulticontroller tune menu. Printhead moves to home, change filament and push the button again. Should work the same with ABS?

Oei, Blij maken kan ik je niet :???:. Rondzoeken bij onderdelenboeren lijkt me, igus? elcee? Zou mooi zijn als er meer onderdelen in de Ultimaker shop lagen, Hint Hint :-P Van het weekend had ik een Kogellagertje kapot 628/8 2rs van de 8mm assen. Had mooi geweest als die in de shop te krijgen waren. Op een tilburgs industrie terrein was er 1 te vinden (schijnbaar special maat) kostte me 17euro en een beetje pfffffffff. Maar gelijk voor 2.80stuk, 8 bij Conrad besteld, zal geen skf kwaliteit zijn maar affijn, dan heb ik in elk geval iets liggen.. Suc6 met de zoektocht. Laten we dit draadje in ere houden voor verder nederlandse onderdelen strooptochten :cool:

Yoy have to fill in your printsize on the request form, so they send you a stone that fits. Mine was about 200x80x100 and weighted 125 grams

I thought to remember you made some changes yourself, so hoped you might be a volunteer for the job Wait what happens with this post, perhaps not fair to tag it with UM2, might attract more attention :???:. I used flowthermostat in earlier cura versions, don,t know if it works now. I give it try! perhaps a combination of the 2 works aswell.

Sounds (reads) the same as with my old UM1, when I want to change filament, I have to extrude a little bit by hand first. And only than! retract. The (clogged) Pla is softened and deforms when you pull it out the hotend. Might be old-fashioned for a Ultra Modern UM2 but it might work
