  1. It could be. The X: drive is known to cause problems if that is a network drive.
  2. Well. If you're willing to send me money, I'd love to work on things on my own time. But sorry I misread your question. I don't think that your very long rant was a warranted response though. You could just have said "Sorry, not the stuff I'm looking for"
  3. Please report issues on https://github.com/ultimaker/cura/issues/ Also add the log file, since that might show us what is going on.
  4. Cura stores files in: ~/.local/share/cura (Logs, machines, etc) ~/.config/cura/ (preferences, plugin manifest)
  5. Please post feature requests on github (https://github.com/ultimaker/cura/issues/) and give us a bit more info as to why you'd want this.
  6. If you use em to change settings, they aren't quite support blockers anymore (but modifier meshes) https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013370140-How-to-adjust-print-settings-of-a-part-of-my-model-in-Ultimaker-Cura There is also a (paid) plugin that can do all kinds of automatic magic with them: https://www.tetonsim.com/smart-slice-for-cura
  7. Github is the place to do feature requests: https://github.com/ultimaker/cura/issues
  8. Cura has this. It's called adaptive layer height. There is also the option to use modifier meshes: https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013370140-How-to-adjust-print-settings-of-a-part-of-my-model-in-Ultimaker-Cura Slic3r also has this option, since they copied it from Cura.
  9. You can create a backup by going to extensions - > backups. On the new machine you can just restore the backup.
  10. I think that is the kind of calibration you need to do on the printer itself. Delta printers are known for needing calibration in order to prevent issues like this. I can't tell you how to do that, since I don't own a delta printer, but there are enough guides on the internet on how to do this.
  11. Could you report the issue on github (https://github.com/ultimaker/cura/issues) please?
  12. Probably because you have the solidworks plugin installed.
  13. Please report issues on github (www.github.com/ultimaker/cura/issues) and fill in the entire bug template. This is unfortunately not nearly enough information to debug the issue!
  14. It's a rather fundamental issue I'm afraid. We haven't come up with a way to do it that doesn't also break some other things.
  15. It also helps to make feature requests without the passive aggresive tone 😉 It's a nice idea for a feature. But as with any technological product; the amount of features we can build are far greater than the amount of resources that we have to create them with. That unfortunately means that choices have to be made in what stuff is (and isn't) done.
  16. There is also a plugin in the marketplace that allows for more control of the prefixes.
  17. Since we didn't know that there was a bug with OBJ files; I don't think there is a fix (yet) Could you report the issue on https://github.com/ultimaker/cura/issues/new/choose
  18. No. The old files are still there. If you can zip the configuration folder, I can have a look at what is going wrong.
  19. You don't have to be a specialist. It's quite literally filling out some information that we need.
  20. The profiles are being imported, but it looks to be made for a custom FFF machine (and not based on creality).
