I assume you mean 6mm thick looking cool!
Yeah ! Thanks! Playing with infills to get the black of the background was fun.
so how big is it? it's meant as wall decoration I guess?

Indeed is a A4, but the final version is 20% bigger than the ine of the photo, also improved some small details. Right now I'm setting all the other parts to be able to deliver them. Not easy to make all the parts from design to production to shipment being just one guy
This is my latest work, still in progress. RC Stan Tug.

Cool!
I'm playing around with "drop printing" or "selective drop print". the new CURA 2.x is so fun and inspiring me to do interesting things like these decorative vases. I'll post more fun models soon. I've been toying with this for months. See the youmagine page for more details and a tutorial video I made to share my process so others can have fun too.
Edited by GuestMy boyfriend surprised me with this print ... wow the quality is so much better since he upgraded the UM2 to a UM2+ ... however, I was surprised that the base was loose on the Tardis....his status was immediately upgraded. I <3MY G33K! Yes, the engagement ring is a Tardis, so I guess you could say both of our statuses were upgraded.

Edited by GuestCongrats Livein3D
Designed and printed this some days ago with the Ultimaker 2+. 0.25mm nozzle and 0.06mm layer height. I printed it with Proto Pasta Stainless Steel PLA and then I sanded it a little bit. Exotic filaments are the best filaments, but they destroy brass nozzles.

They look amazing @Neotko! What are they for?
Am I not getting 'Fell the dark side' or did I catch you on a typo?

Is the new stuff I have on my shop. Custom Lettering A4.
Yea I can't use 'dark side' fonts, don't want to get the Lucas hammer. Inspired stuff is ok, but using their fonts is a bit too much Also customers can custom that texts so it must be a font that actually can be remade into a nice 3D.
This is how I make them (sorry for the autopromo)

I think Sander is referring to "fell the dark side" instead of "feel the dark side".
Besides from that, I really love the lettering ones. That real 3D effect on the letters i just 3D porn.
well.... yours are bigger
Contrary to popular belief..size Does matter!
Nice flower, I have seen that design on Thingiverse many times and wished I could print it.
Also I love the tug boat, anything electro-mechanical is exciting!

I've seen this print done with single extrusion printers, but I think removing the supports would be a pain. I'm kind of temped to go ahead and paint the bottom part green, but most of my attempts to paint my prints haven't gone well and I don't want to ruin this one.
so adding to my list of "things taht wil lget you on a government watch list" was this. its for a paintball / airsoft toy gun, which i wanted to be able to attach a 14mm RIS rail to
its from a 3D scanned part, i then added in a 14mm picatinny rail, and printed it, with no support!! 0.25mm layer height in colorfabb olive and took about 5 hours! only a tiny bit of post processing, barely any bad overhanging areas!
the only issue i ran into was trying to use colourfabb filament kept in bad conditions taht was 3 years old! (that was when they still shipped their fillament in unprinted brown boxes on black spools!!)
as a side note, what are the laws / rules regarding taking 3D scanned items, modifying them (but for the most part leaving the main form the same) and then uploading it online for free?
I appologies for the bad pictures. a combination of poor lighting, poor photographing area, awful phone, and having very shakey hands leads to me never being able to take good photos!
The grey is some car primer, the 3d scanner did not like shiny black palstic
and this is the printed part
Before and after!
and some possible uses
