@foehnsturm: Great use case! Is it more or less as flexible as a real human spine?

Never had a real one in my hands 8)
But I assume, at little less flexible. I'll run another print with only 2 perimeter lines instead of 3, and even lower temp.

Where did you get the CAD template for the model come from?
Would like to try to print.
Thank you and greet

Geometry is not so much the challenge but using Filaflex which is one most difficult to print flexible filaments on bowden setups (and with a standard UM 2+ feeder).
Thanks, I try my luck
May I ask, what type of pancake NEMA17 that is? ebay/aliexpress etc didn't show results...

Have you tried a little light oil in the Bowden tube?
I modified Roberts guide for the feeder and I now have a small hole running through from the back, I then insert a small pipe cleaner in with a few drops of oil on it . I still get the odd bit of under extrusion from FilaFlex from Recrues but I like the filament.

I used that trick already. But the current print was intended as challenge for the the Machtless block and Race nozzle. Just wanted to see if this one performs better with Filaflex. And so far it looks like that..

Green? Looks like the black pla-tec that I use from extrudr. If it's that one, I had to change the filament size from 1.75 to 1.725 to keep a perfect top layer. Also imo it needs like 5-7C + of heat vs the same print done on faberdashery.

It's the extrudr stuff andprinted quite well. But the support was more stringy than I expected.
