Fallout 4 Stimpack
By Shipbrook
A Stimpack from the game Fallout 4, modeled in Blender and printed on an Ultimaker 2, then sanded and painted.
See the YouMagine link ("Get 3D model") for full finishing details.
Note: While I was in the finishing process, my backordered extrusion upgrade kit arrived. So I reprinted the gauge needle with the 0.25mm nozzle, at a layer height of 0.04mm. (All the rest was printed with the stock UM2 0.4mm nozzle, at a layer height of 0.12mm.)

3D Printed and Painted Terran Space Marine
By Gambody_3D
This model was tested in Cura 15.06. To avoid printing problems, we recommend the following settings:
Quality
Layer height: 0.1mm*
Initial layer thickness: 0.3mm
Bottom/top pattern: lines
Skin perimeter line count: 0
Horizontal expansion: 0.04mm (when entering 0.04mm index, the 3D printer perceives the model as monolith, i.e. as having no hidden layers).
*Layer Height 0.1mm is recommended for a better quality for the printed model. However, the printing time will double.
Speed setups:
Infill speed: 30mm/s
Outer shell speed : 30mm/s
Inner shell speed: 20mm/s
Top/bottom speed: 20mm/s
Support speed: 50mm/s
Travel speed: 150mm/s
Skirt speed: 30mm/s
Amount of slower layers: 4
Infill:
Infill pattern: Grid
Line distance: 1.5mm
Infill overlap: 20%
Infill layers: 0
Support:
Enable support: Check
Placement: Everywhere
Overhang angle: 30°
X/Y distance: 0.7mm
Top distance: 0.2mm
Bottom distance: 0.2mm
Stair step height: 0.5mm
Join distance: 0.7mm
Area smoothing: 0.6mm
Use towers: check
Pattern: Lines
Line distance: 1.5mm
Platform adhesion:
Type: Brim
Brim line count: 10 (up to 20, depending on the model’s height)
Other 3D printing recommendations:
Outer Shell Speed - 20mm/s and Support Speed - 40mm/s settings apply to avoid model deformation. Apply other settings by default.
Disclaimer: This model will look outstanding if printed on SLA/SLS 3D printer. The accuracy of the model printed on FFF printer can vary from the result shown in the pictures.

USS Enterprise for small print
By kmanstudios
This is the original Enterprise. Well, one of the three used in production. Based off Alan Sinclair's Blueprints, which are regarded as the most accurate available. http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/sinclair-enterprise.php This has two sets of Enterprises: One is a lower Rez version and the other high reZ version. I have a great fondness for this ship since as a child, it was the one that broke the mode of flying saucers and tube rockets. A truly revolutionary design that has spawned many great versions through the decades. The stand is included here to be combined as one color or made as a two color print. Sized for this model. The stand can hold a printed version of the ship at 110% as well.
Development can be watched here:

Star Wars Episode VII Resistance X-Wing
Since I'm been waiting for Star Wars Force Awakens to come out soon, I decided to model the Resistance X-Wing on 3ds Max and I used the trailer for reference. I have tested and printed using Ultimaker 2, and It was very interesting of trying to get the right shape of the new X-Wing ship.

1:100 Scale Model of a German Field Wagon
By Wisar
The wagon is a re-creation of a German Field Wagon from World War II. I think that it is pretty close to a true scale representation. It is printed as a kit in parts using a 250 micron nozzle for some of the fine details. The horses and the people are castings.
I really wish that I could claim to have built the diorama that is starring my wagon but, alas, I can most assuredly not!
This diorama was built by Bill, the Scenic Doctor, who is a "Yoda" of model building as near as I can tell. He has been modeling for 40 years and has a whole wealth of experience in all types of models. He also casts in resins for models that are not available otherwise. Buildings, trees and scenery are what he does best as for a few years he worked with the biggest modeling company in Scotland.
Please enjoy the photos above and take a look at some of Bill's other work on his website.
