  1. Technically it should suffice to let abort do the same thing that it does now and once that is completed execute a certain g-code that does all of these operations. I have no idea how the customization of pronterface works, so I can't help you there.
  2. This code is not allowed according to c++ spec, but our standard compiler (GCC) accepts this.
  3. They are sometimes used interchangable But going dutch probably means this:
  4. *cough* http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=double+dutch *cough*
  5. I'd recommend switching to the latest beta release. This sounds a lot like on of the issues that we fixed. It could also be your firewall messing with things (some firewalls don't allow local sockets and we use those!) http://software.ultimaker.com/Cura_closed_beta/15.10/
  6. Could you check the model for non-manifold edges? How thick are the walls in the area that you're trying to print?
  7. Yup. Download the latest build from here; http://software.ultimaker.com/Cura_closed_beta/15.10/
  8. I guess that should be easier yeah. @bagel-orb and @ghostkeeper should be able to give you better information about the slicing engine.
  9. Ultimaker printers is a quite broad term. Getting the UMO to work with the new marlin stuff shouldn't be that hard. The UM2 has quite a few changes, especially with respect to the display screen and how materials etc are handled.
  10. We don't have any such plans as far as I'm aware.
  11. This was an oversight from us. We saw nozzle size as a hardware setting (simmilar to size of the machine), which we thought would not change all that often. This is the main difference between machine settings and ¨normal¨ settings. Changing one of the machine settings results in a ¨new¨ machine, this is why you need to create a new machine definition. This is changed in the new version (both due to request from you guys as the decision to start shipping with olson hotends). It is. We´ve spent the past months improving this. There are some drastic changes in the latest version that should resolve (most) of these issues.
  12. Putting the auto bed levelling in is probably going to be a complete nightmare. We removed it because it overcomplicated things for the UM2 and from what I understood, was poorly written.
  13. Not by default. Someone could make a converter, depending on how different the file extension is.
  14. 15.04 is definitely fit for stable use.
  15. This would be very hard to implement. Both on the GUI side as on the ´backend´ that stores this information.
  16. Nope. They aren´t using the new cura base (yet).
  17. I think it should change the same thing. Flow is just a bit easier to understand (and it makes more sense as changing flow is seen as a temporary change, whereas changing steps per MM is a more fundamental change)
  18. It should change the amount of material extruded. Where have you read that the flow does nothing?
  19. Change the steps per mm of your extruder.
  20. This is exactly the same behaviour as the old Cura, which is why we kept it. If more people dislike this, we could change this. It is. Use ctrl + click to group select objects. You can use the context menu (right mouse) to group / ungroup them.
  21. In 15.10 we should have 3, 4 and 5 fixed.
  22. Same goes for fieldOfView. We recently hired him based on his work to Cura as well.
