Where you able to rip in-game assets or did you have to re-model it yourself? Personally I'm hoping that the new shock rifle in UT4 will be made available as a high-res model so I can print it out in full size

It's been a while, so time for a post
My wife and I coach kids via something that is called Coderdojo. Just wanted to show them what you can do with a 3d printer. My UM2 has been very hard at work at this the last couple of days:
nice ... how did you do the eye's and mouth ?
Arjan, the original modeler did that for me They are separate objects that you can print in any color you want and just plug in. I'm still not goot enough to do stuff like that.
How tall is it? I see the euro coin, but have a bit of trouble guesstimating.
It's 33cm high. The original model claims to be 4 times as tall as the original thing and I printed that model at 200%
someday I'll make one with my own face still waiting for my fuel3d..... and people think ultimaker has a long leadtime
Arjan: The regular head for the model is blank, so you can do your own thing:

This is the head I used:

Edit: And if you ever receive that fuel3d, let me know how it is. I have the Sense from Cubify and not really enthusiastic about it.

What a strange idea

And here is my last procedural necklace modelled wit blender. One might not see on the picture but there are some variations in the pearls and each of them is unique.
As my spool of bronze fill is over now, I think I will wait a bit before printing more jewelery things.
Here's the Dishwasher Rack Adjuster print hot off the press before it gets assembled and put through the fail test in the dishwasher. I only had to make 1/2. It's printed in ABS.
I printed out this beauty. It came out a bit rough, so I decided to sand it a bit and then paint it. I'm not that good at painting, but i'm happy with the result!
Before; quite a rough print, done with 0,2 layer height.
After sanding & painting, as well as coated with a layer oh lacquer
The articulated elephant, printed with flexible filament (just wanted to know if an UMO with direct extruder can handle it).

Is that printed with the feeder directly on the hotend?
Then, I'm knocked out completely.
What resolution/filament did you use to achieve such a great surface finish?
wow. very impressive.

Printed out this hex scalemail, created by Davinci85.
Is this a real purchase option still available via an online order option?
Now, with the 2015 Feb release, new UM2 wee one version, Daid, you can now pack a lunch and your UM-Jr, plus a few health bars, eh and still have room for a good magazine, right??
It's IKEA's idea of sponsoring 3D printing:

However, I found it a bit hard to pack up my Ultimaker in the bag, and a bit difficult to carry around if you do not balance the weight right.

Took me forever to do this. And it is still rougher than I would have liked. 3D concept rendering: Finished piece:

I just finished this. It was a multi-part print for ease of painting. Some of it I am not sure what happened...but hey, it is purty....And, I am unanimous in that ? Test Render Parts

Bath interferometers. I have made about 20 of these for people who use them to test their telescope mirrors. They are amazingly accurate and can do better than a $40,000 Zygo PSI optical tester. Th
