  1. I second! @Labern, where is your entry??
  2. Some colleagues might go, and some travel by car. Is it an option if I see if you can be picked up in Utrecht? (it would save you the travel with your Ultimaker). If Utrecht is not an option, I don't think we can pick you up.
  3. The length, recommend temperature (even for the heated bed) is written on a label on the filament. The length isn't, I will forward that as feedback!
  4. Doesn't work in safari neither for me, so it must be that. I usually work in Chrome. Thanks!
  5. Nope, and with me they all look fine. I will file a report, thanks for sharing!
  6. .. it needs to be pretty too!
  7. More shoes! But not from an established fashion designer this time. It is Chris van den Elzen's turn, lets see what a talented young designer can bring to the table with fresh new ideas combined with a new technology. The world of high-end fashion is one that’s in perpetual change. It has a constant desire for original ideas and Chris van den Elzen is pushing the boundaries of the shoemaking art with 3D printed designs. The fashion world is loving every minute of it... Read all about his story here And you can watch his video below.
  8. How do you mean? For me they work. Do you still get a different image if you click it?
  9. Select PLA settings in your Ultimaker 2, before you start printing with PLA
  10. PLA usually is easier to print with, and may help you understand the mechanics and material better. When you are more experienced you could try ABS again.
  11. Hi, @DidierKlein and I came up with a challenge which we could roll out in the community. Inspired by @Rigs print. A while back a long bearded guy named @AaronAlai tried to set up something like a monthly challenge. After a few contests this stopped because I think life happened. But I would like to give it another try, at least for this one challenge, and we can see where it goes! Price: eternal (.. or at least a month) honor and respect within the Ultimaker community! Challenge: Print this OK Hand as small as possible. Edit, We also put together some requirements: 1 the pink should stand loose from the other fingers. 2 the hole between the thumb and pointing finger has to be open. Since there are quite a few modded / enhanced Ultimaker's out there it is only fair that if you took the time to work on your Ultimaker you can also enjoy the benefits from it. So everything goes! Just mention what upgrades / modifications you have when you upload your entry. Would it be fun that who ever wins, gets to pick the next challenge? Ready.. set.. GO!
  12. You could also try to print the first layer a little bit slower and potentially put the bed a liiiiiittle bit higher?
  13. Would be good having you over again If you are going to bring your Ultimaker make sure to let us know if you think it needs maintenance and in what area, so if necessary we can prepare.
  14. Since Korneel is hosting it, it will be focussed on the Ultimaker 2. But I have understood you won't be the only one with an Original, and since Marrit will also be there.. if you have any questions about your Original I am sure we can help you too!
  15. Hi @Tinydancer, good to see you again! Life can be pretty time-consuming Send me a PM about your plan and what you think you would need from us to realize this! Lets see if we can work something out Looking forward hearing from you !
  16. You could also upload it in our Printhttps://ultimaker.com/en/community/prints/ section
  17. Very cool! Good print Question.. is there also a way to get the saved money out of it, after you put it in? Or are we addressing that problem old fashioned with a sledgehammer?
  18. I don't think it will be filmed, but it will be well documented and shared In a write up it is much easier to follow steps and read back.
  19. The next Ulti-Evening is coming up, with yet another educational and interactive theme. This time we can count on @Korneel to give us a piece of his mind, and he will be talking about: Maintenance! Through his many print-hours he got valuable insights on how to shape your Ultimaker in its best condition and make sure to keep it like that! And together we want to share that knowledge with you! Do you want to learn something new, or your Ultimaker is due for some love? Bring your Ultimaker! We will be bringing some spare parts which are available for you during the Ulti-Evening to use. Some of the topics we will be covering: How to recognize your PTFE needs to be replaced How to clean your Ultimaker What to look for with original and alternative feeders How to improve your print quality What are standard errors (heated bed error, temp sensor error) and how to prevent these from happening What maintenance is necessary every week Date: 07-09-2015 Time: 17.00 - 22.00 Locatie: Protospace, Utrecht 17.00 - 18.00 Arrival (Bring your Ultimaker!) and order food (10 euro pp) 18.30 - 19.00 Presentation 19.00 - 22.00 Maintenance-time!

Wederom kunnen we bouwen op de kennis van onze community, dit maal op de print expert @Korneel Het onderwerp is maintenance.
