  1. To me this looks like a bed calibration issue. On the bed you can see the lines of the print are really stringy and almost detach from the rest while in the front you can see these super thin almost transparant lines suggesting the nozzle is really close to the printerbed. Have you tried to just extrude a while without printing to check if the filament is consistent this way? Do you have a heated bed? if not what type of bed adhesion do you use? Do you print on tape or anything?
  2. You can always check whether the printer will print correctly by looking at the preview tab. In this tab you see what the printer will do. You can however be relatively sure that yellow parts will just print.
  3. Going for a very long shot, but what print core are you using for the breakaway?
  4. No i would surely expect it to be hardware, but if you try to do a factory reset might as wel try that. I would look at the motors and belts to look whether anything is stuck.
  5. You could try that and instal the latest firmware.
  6. Have you tried to carefully restart it and look if the problem happens again?
  7. How does the print head move when you move it by hand? Does it move around right then?
  8. The feeder screw. Did you check if all the axis are snapped fully in the black blocks holding them?
  9. Are you sure your reseller did not put in any type of travel safety? Did you check if all the axis are snapped fully in the black blocks holding them? For the extruder you could check if the extruder wheel looks dirty or worn out, this could explain the printer not extruding. If this does not help you could look at thightening or loosening the extruder screw.
  10. But cant you print the two rings seperate and assemble afterwards?
  11. Why do you want to print the one ring floating in the first place?
  12. Hi, It could also be that it is the other way around then, the old ones white and the new ones black so you should check with them. Have you also made sure that the axis is dry on the end? Some people lube their axis all the way making it easier for them to slip out of the clamps.
  13. Hi V3D, Is it possible to get in touch with the company who fixed it in the first place? The newest version of those blocks are (as far as I know) white so maybe they replaced them with the wrong ones. I think they should be the same, but it is worth a shot. Hope this helps a bit. Kind regards
  14. This looks so freaking cool! Could you share some more on how you drew this and what you use for the painting?
  15. Hi zaph, Unfortunately only the ultimaker s5 has filament end detection. The way we normally solve it is by weighing how much we have left on our spool and looking if it corresponds to what we need in Cura. We always keep a maring here just to be save. Hope this helps a bit. Kind regards, Job van Gennip
  17. Could you maybe make a screenshot of what it looks like?
  18. I would really not advise it since you would need some extra mods to make it work. There is however in the custom settings a setting for filament diameter. It is under the extra settings for material.
  19. The reason the bottom is ugly is all due to overhang. The printer cannot cool the print sufficiently. What you could try is using supports especially when you print them with pva. This will make it look much better.
  20. Ehm well this is not much to work with, can you send what your problem is make pictures and maybe share your printer, material and profile. Nevermind it did not load properly and only said hi all at first now it is better
  21. Have you set your cura on automatic processing? it does not slice automatically so this can maybe be the problem. If you press the button that your normally use for saving the gcode (it should say prepare) you can do this by hand.
  22. It has to do with the default speed settings. In Cura 3 they changed up the default printing speeds within the profiles, at least there is where the difference was for me. You can customize them yourself to match the once you used in 15.04.
