Hi Andre, I will send you some information personally.
-
Ooh i get it. Sorry i taught it was just the shade. This problem is something you saw very often on the UMO and ultimakers 2. At least if i am correct with what it is. It looks to me like the green part is more optimal for cooling. Due to the design the s5 has a decentralized nozzle which results in one fan having more acces than the other. To test this you could try to turn the model and see if the same still happens. Could you test this?

The time depends a lot on the size of your order. We in total waited 2 weeks including shipping. But i expect the more popular the material gets the shorter this time will become (expect their capacity to increase)
-
There is a max height to printing one at a time. Could you try if you can make it work with shorter items? ps I do not think they are too high, but it is worth a shot
-
I have tried it. It is quite the material, but you have to really get used to it. Make sure you check the requirments for debinding and sintering. We printed with dimafix on the build plate. This made sure that the model was really stuck. However this makes it important to be patient enough for it to come of. When you take the material of your print is super brittle so be very careful with it and pack it super tight before sending. I liked the service of BASF, they even debinded and sintered the parts that did not comply with their requirments.
-
I heard that the connectors at the back of the build plate are kinda weak. Could you look if these are still attached correctly?
-
Maybe you could upload the gcode. There are a lot of magicians here that could check if it gets turned off due to the code.
-
I would for sure print it in two parts. Support will always result in crappier prints. Also the screw will be better to print that way.
-
Did you upgrade it to a plus yourself? It sounds like a problem with the power supply not being able to deliver enough power. Do you have a multimeter to maybe test this?
-
How long have you waited till turning it off? Cause it is a normal startup routine. So maybe you are just oo quick

Print Core Stuck - Ultimaker 3
Job_van_gennip replied to PancakesAreLife's topic in UltiMaker 3D printers
Long shot, but i have done this wrong some times as well. Have you unloaded the material before pulling it out? -
What do you have as settings in cura? and what material are you using? Does this happen with just one gcode or with everything you print? could you maybe share a gcode that you use?
-
Could you also share the model?

Getting a smooth bottom layer of PLA
Job_van_gennip replied to Oliveros's topic in Improve your 3D prints
I would say start by cleaning the bed and apply a thin layer of gluestick that you spread with a little bit of water. I would also lower the printing temperature to around 205 215 max. 230 sounds way too much for pla. -
A new plastic part is around 5 euro so I would just replace it. it is a simple reperation that you can do yourself. I would not do too much half fixes.
-
I know indeed one core is often held at a lower temp, but is the printing nozzle able to reach/retain the correct temperature?
-
It sound to me like the printer might be losing power. Did you check the temps of the nozzle, it might be that it cant handle heating both nozzles. However i do not know a lot about dual extrusion um2's.

thin wall Jobs display and print as solid objects
Job_van_gennip replied to super811's topic in Improve your 3D prints
In what program do you draw your models and could you maybe check in another program if the model isnt already solid when you export it? -

I always use a a piece of paper during the bed leveling. There are a lot of good guides on the internet. Another often used method is starting with the print of a rectangle as big as possible and during the printing finetune the bed.
