  1. Printing over USB cable is considered legacy and not recommended.
  2. And that looks like one of the leads on your heater or the sensor next to it is damaged Article: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667411133313
  3. Profiles for UltiMaker 3d printers are very different, these profiles wont work for them.
  4. Latest version very much does support the Ultimaker 2.. even Ultimaker Original. When adding a printer select "Add Local Printer" Select "Add non-networked printer" And then it will be listed.
  5. If it is working in Matter Control and not UltiMaker Cura, that points to bad start gcode.. Slice something like a basic cube in both slicers and share the gcode file that is generated from each.
  6. Welcome to the community @corbintrane Sorry to hear about your issues with Support, I have reached out to the Support Manager about this issue. Going off what you have said here, I am going to assume you have a S7 Pro Bundle? (S7 + Material Station) If so, this is standard preload purging that is done at the start of each print and nothing to be alarmed about. The reason it would do it off both the left and right sides, this would be the best locations to purge the left and right print cores respectively. Once its completed its cycles it should start the print.
  7. uhm.. that fan on the back of the printhead is installed wrong.. it should be facing the other direction.. pushing air thru the head not pulling it out.. That might be part of your root cause of your issue.
  8. Can you share that project file by chance.. that model looks a bit odd and I suspect its actually broken
  9. I would recommend reaching out to UltiMaker Support directly about this issue. UltiMaker does not provide direct support via the community. Contact form here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/contactsupport
  10. I think the release notes are out of context if you had not used the 2+C before that firmware release.. You were not able to change material when you manually paused the printer from the touch screen before. This update only made that possible. It is still not possible to use stop at layer height etc gcode to pause the 2+C as noted in this thread its either ignored or it only pauses for a moment before auto resuming itself. If you want to change material while printing you will need to manually pause the machine from the touch screen.

  12. Sounds like the mergers in your Material Station might be jammed up. A guide for resolving this can be found here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667337954457
  13. https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/wiki/Plugins-And-Packages
  14. There is a guide for completely resetting UltiMaker Cura to fresh install status Note: this deletes any settings or profiles you might have made here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667337567843
  15. You would likely get better help with this question in a Anet Users Community.
  16. You will want to contact Thingiverse Support directly for help with this. here: https://www.thingiverse.com/support#
  17. You should reach out to UltiMaker Support for that one. https://support.ultimaker.com/s/contactsupport UltiMaker does not provide direct support via the community. Questions for Digital Factory are also generally hard for the community to answer as well.
  18. Moved the thread because this has nothing to do with Cura.. I will note on a personal note. This does not represent views by UltiMaker I have in my personal ventures found the Le Potato to extremely unreliable and had some of the same issues you have had. I would recommend finding a different 3rd party option if a genuine Raspberry is out of your budget. I have had significantly better experience with the OrangePi and BigTreeTech options.
  19. You will want to explain what your problem appears to be.. Because those pictures range from no problems at all to big problems.. pending what filament was used and what the expected outcomes were.
  20. All UltiMaker printers have always had large build plates than their print volume. As for the size of UM3 vs UM3S yes the volume is a bit smaller on Y As for pushing the limits of the ranges it really depends on your slicer settings.. use of brim, dual extruder, etc..
  21. Based on the constant printing you said your doing.. I would try starting with a print core cleaning. Guide here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667411136256
  22. UM2's can sometimes be picky.. all I can say is try another brand.
  23. Sounds like a neat feature. But best place to share feedback and feature requests is on our Github, this ensures its seen by the Dev Team. https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/discussions
