  1. By default network connection usually only works with UltiMaker branded 3d printers. You generally have to use a plugin to enable support for 3rd party printers.
  2. You cant skip the leveling process its required on the S series. There is workarounds you can find around the forum but these are not recommended by UltiMaker.
  3. Sounds like the pva is wet. https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667337600656
  4. Article your looking for should be this one: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667410781005 Not sure why they built a knowledge base against a different websites knowledge base though, thats odd.. Print cores are technically considered not serviceable by UltiMaker. They should be the same length, if not your just always going to have issues as there is no way to adjust the z offset between them.
  5. You didnt order it from a UltiMaker reseller it sounds like? Print Cores are not user serviceable and only sold as complete assemblies
  6. many of these designs are also protected by patents.. Also.. I shudder at that thought of some dummy 3d printing the 12v high power connector Nvidia used recently.. those issues would have been significantly more damaging... 😱
  7. Guide for custom profiles can be found here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667411002602 As for when will your printer be added? Ask Creality. UltiMaker does not produce any 3rd party profiles, they are contributed to UltiMaker Cura by the 3rd party manufacture or their community then is included in the following release of UltiMaker Cura.
  8. Please dont attempt to print via usb cable to any 3d printer. Support for direct printing over USB is considered legacy and not actively maintained in UltiMaker Cura. Direct USB printing is considered extremely unreliable and UltiMaker offers zero assurance that it will work with your configuration.
  9. Then ask Elegoo why its not listed. Its not UltiMaker's responsibility to add it.. all 3rd party printers are added by the Manufacture or their community. UltiMaker does not actively produce 3rd party profiles. If a profile is missing.. the fault is with the Manufacturer and their community.
  10. Direct Network printing in UltiMaker is generally only supported on UltiMaker 3d printers. Connection to 3rd party printers usually comes from a 3rd party plugin from the marketplace. Again, for the same reasons as noted by @Slashee_the_Cow TLDR; Support for K1 Max is missing, because no one bothered to contribute the support. Try asking Creality why, its not UltiMaker's responsibility.
  11. Its literally on the UltiMaker website under software.... https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura/#downloads There is also literally a link on the post you responded to, to download UltiMaker Cura from Thingiverse website as well....... https://www.thingiverse.com/software/ultimaker-cura
  12. UltiMaker 2+ Connect does not support local lan printing. You can learn more here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667412440858
  13. Yea 2019 would be long out of warranty.. There was also no ESP option offered to extend the warranty on Material Stations.
  14. Why are you trying to use UltiMaker Cura 3.6 that was released Nov 2018... Its not even currently considered supported anymore.. Current version of UltiMaker Cura is 5.7 and even 4.x is out of support by this point..
  15. You dont. UltiMaker Cura does not officially support running on Chromebook hardware or operating system. Operating System Requirements here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667337917781
  16. UltiMaker does not provide direct support via the Community.. But i'm impressed with what you have done and will offer some advice. You can find a bunch of content to dig thru on the knowledge base.. I would recommend reviewing each ER code and what they mean.. even if your not seeing the errors some will give you additional points to self inspect for potential issue later. https://support.ultimaker.com/s/topic/0TO5b000000Q4xpGAC/material-station-operation https://support.ultimaker.com/s/topic/0TO5b000000Q4xrGAC/material-station-troubleshooting Material Station is not really recommended to be serviced by a end user.. Rather only serviced by UltiMaker or a authorized Partner in your region.. Your S5 is generally considered end user serviceable in contrast.. There is A LOT that can go wrong poking around in that unit.. im very impressed with what you accomplished though. I would recommend checking inside the unit again for damage on any of the merger or feeder systems and that they are secure etc.. An improperly packaged Material Station that is shipped.. can usually lead to total loss damage to the unit due to damaged internally from impacts or significant vibrations the unit encounters. Some parts can break off their mounting points and smash into other parts causing excessive damage to other plastic parts and some cases the main PCB board. The cost of replacement for some of these components often make it unreasonable to replace outside of warranty vs cost of new unit. *Note: Warranty does not transfer.
  17. UltiMaker Cura is designed for FFF/FDM printers.. not resin printers..
  18. I would recommend contacting support directly for help with this here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/contactsupport The first thing support will ask for though is the UltiMaker Cura project file Slashee mentioned.
  19. 90% of the time this is due to network blocking on your local network (security settings/firewall/etc) Guide here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667337958118 UltiMaker does not provide direct support via the community. I would recommend reaching out to UltiMaker directly for help on this matter. Contact support here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/contactsupport
  20. prevent spools rubbing.. and also keep the spools on the rolling wheels.. if they dont fully stay on the rollers or are rubbing together they wont re-spool correctly.. removing dividers only will increase issues with the material station.. its not as simple as "this is in the way can i move it out of the way"
  21. dont do that.. they are critical to the function of the material station. The side fins have your spool detection and the bottom trays have additional parts of the feeder systems attached to them.
  22. Knowledge Article on this topic here: https://support.ultimaker.com/s/article/1667337565436 Also please note the S5 build plate is considerably larger than the max travel range of the print cores. This is by design, the range allowed is within advertised specs.
  23. 🤷‍♂️ the heater block in the Print core is significantly smaller than the heater block on a Prusa. Additionally the heater rod in a Print core is considerably smaller than a heater rod in a Prusa. I dont know what else to tell you.
  24. You will need to contact UltiMaker Support to get a more detailed answer. UltiMaker does not provide direct support via the community. I was simply sharing what information I am aware of. But simplified answer.. 280c at low speeds can be less thermal demanding than a print at 235c at higher speeds. Its the max potential heat that can be produced by the hotend. The UltiMaker S series is not a high speed printing platform. So your trying to make the machine do something it was never designed to do in the first place. S5 was released in 2018 The print core design was released with the UM3 in 2016
