Could you double check if your settings are enabled for email and let me know if you receive emails?

 

I changed my email back to the one that uses greylisting. I got the "activate your changed email" message, so that is already working. Let's see if I get any notifications from now on. I will keep you updated

5 email notifications about the same thread instead of 1 email and the next one only after I have visited the thread.

Notification in the top right corner does not go away when I visit the thread but I have to manually click it to visit the thread that I am already in.

I'm just saw to opposite issue. There was an unread post in a thread I am following and I never got an notification email or in the notification bar at the top of the web page. The forum list did show "1 unread" correctly so that is how I knew.

The fact it shows there are unread topics does not mean you are also following the thread. It just means you haven't read it yet. Are you sure you are following this specific topic?

Nope sorry. When I checked it was already normal again.

Maybe there was a glitch in the matrix during the launch of the new improvement?

The fact it shows there are unread topics does not mean you are also following the thread. It just means you haven't read it yet. Are you sure you are following this specific topic?

 

I am getting emails now.

I double checked and I have been and am still following the thread.

The post I missed was dec 2nd and I looked at the email notifications I got on the 2nd and 3rd and no mention of that post in those emails.

Strange , possible a one time thing, I'll try to notice if I see something like this happening again.
