When I was watching the elephant being printed, I noticed you had a water bottle hanging on the back of the frame, was that a counter weight for the Ultimaker, so less force is put on the z-motor ? and do we still need a counter weight ? I was hoping you would respond I do have some questions , - how does the z-axis move. - how is the bowdentube mounted. - does it need adjustes firmware. I have already remade my Ultimaker into a higher printer, and I don't see any problems to adjust my frame to your setup

While the dual printing set-up is not so important to me, I do think it would be a great show of openness to post the information and even prototypes of your dual set-up, this would give the community to decide for themselves if the problems you had, can be worked with, and tinker with the design. Probeer eens zonder te printen, in Cura of Ulticontroller, handmatig het bed naar beneden te bewegen in vaste stappen van (10mm of zo) en dan meten of het op grote afstand maat klopt (10X keer....) het kan zijn dat de basis instellingen in Cura van de UM niet goed zijn, je kan ook eens de firmware updaten naar de laatste versie.
