  1. That makes a solution by Sander officially about 3-4 times faster than support... I suffered about a week from the same issue until Sander got my profile running again.
  2. In recent times the lead time they give in the webshop are quite accurate. At the moment it says 1-2 weeks.
  3. Je pense qu'il y aura assez des options pour nozzles plus grandes en Cura 15.06...
  4. Please be careful. I'm always a bit worried when people start to completely encase a significant heat source. There has been at least one heavy accident with an encased 3D printer so far. Think about what might happen if the hotend suddenly fails to stop heating. Ultimaker has tested this case for an not encased printer and found it safe. But situation is completely different for a printer inside a box.
  5. Select one part and then rightclick on the other part and choose dual merge. If it's the wrong way round, select the other part first.
  6. Falls noch jemand auf den Zug aufspringen möchte: Bitte bis am Freitag (29.5.15) melden...
  7. Most probably never. The way the dual extrusion was designed for the UMO should have been used for the UM2 more or less the same way. It didn't work as we all know. A proper dual or multiextrusion will have to be implemented in a different way. Please also check the forum for posts on foehnsturms development on dual head extrusion and Ultiarjans transformation of it to the UM2.
  8. @skodiar @swordriff: 0.8mm Düse für Supportmaterial scheint soweit im Cura PU zu funktionieren. Ich halte da aber ein Auge drauf.
  9. York phone then is either irish or american but not scotish. Maybe you have to activate some bag pipe music as a ring tone to get it spelled the other way?
  10. Home again and already said hello to my Ultimakers... @SandervG, @swordriff, @ultiarjan: It was great to meet you. @ultiarjan: We had Whisky, not Whiskey... very important difference! @skint: Really a pity, we missed you...and not only after we had the drinks...
  11. OK, but with a raft you have some material in between the lower top (print bed) and the upper bottom? But as mentioned before, it could be improved.
  12. Maybe I had not enough coffee yet today but I don't get the reason for stacking objects with a horizontal gap. I would never expect the upper object to have a clean bottom. Hovever, the way Cura deals with such situations might have some space for improvements.
  13. I guess you had a lot of stringing before you cleaned the print. That was a serious material loss which caused the underextrusion. Try to print more slowly and cooler if not for the whole print then for this section. You may use the TweakAtZ plugin for that purpose.
  14. That's a graphic issue in Cura. It's caused by the offset of the second extruder. I had the same problem. I got rid of it by setting the offset of the second extruder in Marlin and to zero in Cura. However, if you post a screenshot, we may be sure we mean the same issue...
  15. @insight01: The UM2 was not intended to be a tinkerer machine. It comes with a CE conformity declaration which is void if the printer is modified (this might not be important for you but for other people). Thats why the UMO is still available and will stay available (maybe only as UMO+ at some point). What filament are you referring to? I have the impression that almost any filament also comes now in 2.85mm. The thicker one is anyway easier to produce.
  16. OK got it, I thought so. I'm guessing that the "0,0" home position indicator (black crosshair symbol) will always be shown in the front left corner on the graphic display in Cura regardless of which side the printer will be set up on? Yes, I think so. Afaik the only other option Cura offers is the origin at the center, intended for delta printers.
  17. I had today a very good and rather long personal talk to two people from Ultimaker which are responsible for / dealing with the forum. We were talking about how to improve the forum here. My impression was, that they take every critics, independent of the way it was written here on the new forum, very, very seriously. They ar very grateful for all suggestions, but especially about the fact a lot of you gave them in a very consistent way information about how things have to be improved. What certainly can be said at this point: improvements are on the way and they will be tested before made public (and not only by UM people... ). And they shouldn't take too long. Some of you may know that one wall of the booth Ultimaker is travelling around with from one event to the other (currently at 3D printshow London) is a wall with some text about this community. I must appologize for the bad quality of the picture, but I have to show you the last paragraph of this wall: I guess there is no further comment needed.
  18. I don't think that the darker blue is discontinued. It was the light blue afaik. Anyway I saw today at least one UM2 Go printing with the darker blue at the 3D printshow in London (UM booth).
  19. Or too hot. I think to remember having the best results with 225-230°C. But that was with 0.1mm layers. And maybe you should check your bed levelling. In one picture I see a bed which is too far away from the nozzle.
  20. Try 15mm/s and make sure you have enough pressure on your feeder.
  21. This has to be specified in the firmware. Afaik your printer also uses Marlin. Check configuration.h for the homing directions.
  22. Another alternative: https://github.com/Dim3nsioneer/Cura-Plugins/wiki/Retract-While-Combing-plugin
  23. They will rather buy you another beer...
  24. Have you tried yet to increase the infill overlap by about five percent?
