  1. One more thing: We talk about PLA or something else? For example PETG oozes much more than PLA.
  2. I don't think you mean the prime blob itself, the little piece in the front left corner which can be disabled in Cura (setting prime blob), you mean that material come out before that, right? Do you use your own start/end gcode in Cura? It could be that you missed the final retract of the filament and therefore the pressure is too high that during the heat up some material oozes from the nozzle. I use default settings and think I never have seen this issue or when then even just a cm or so.
  3. And because I now assume that you do not understand my language either, here is the translation: I'm sorry, but I don't know this language, like many others here. Therefore, the forum language here is English so that we can all understand each other. I would like to ask you to write your posts in English. Thank you!
Danke!
  5. I think there was a video or some instructions, but haven't found it yet. I will still try to find something....
  8. Please write in English, we are not willing to copy it to a translator to understand what you say. Thanks!
  9. For Ultimaker customers there is a direct support, that is usually the Ultimaker reseller of their printer. So if you have an Ultimaker printer, then just direct the question to your reseller. If you use Cura with a 3rd party printer, then the way to report bugs is GitHub. Cura is open source, GitHub the place where all bugs and features requests are collected. I am not aware of any open source software where the company offers you direct (premium) support for nothing. So be fair and understand that you use Cura for free and that you just have to go the way all other users have to take when reporting a bug. The interesting part and that is something I personally don't really understand is, that most of the rants and complains here are coming from users with 3rd party printers. They use the software for free, don't pay anything and then complains here that something is not working or rant about no direct support. No one is forcing you to use Cura, just use the slicer that meets your needs and if that is Cura, consider it a gift that you can use a great software for free without the company behind it getting a penny from you. Yes, it is, thanks for your understanding....
  11. When the front fan is not working than it is just a question of time until you get again the problem. The Air Manager don't cool the the print core, but maybe when the model is flat enough, that the two part fans generate enough airflow for the time that it is working. But you want definitely check why the front fan is not working. I guess a wire is broken or the connector is loose on the back. If not you can only replace the fan itself. But check also if the fan is maybe blocked by some residue of filament.
  12. As far as I can remember I put some copper grease on the sensor and maybe also on the heater itself, don't know anymore. I haven't dismounted the Olsson block since then, but it is working with copper grease.
  13. Your posting here is not really helpful, a screenshot and rant about a problem, but not error description, no logs and so on. So nobody will be able to help you. But you said you have made several error reports. Can you please post the GitHub links from the issues here, then we have a link to them. And if you have not opened an issue on GitHub then please do it now and provide all the needed infos in the issue template there. https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues/new?assignees=&labels=Type%3A+Bug&template=bugreport.yaml Thanks!
  14. I would say that 60mm/sec is a way too fast for what you are trying to do. Start with 30mm/sec and go up if that works for you. Set the temperature to the upper end of what is still acceptable and then you can also increase the flow to see if that helps. But overall that is just an experiment, I would not print a model with such settings, the result could not be good, also if your picture shows something else. I still would say, print with a bigger nozzle or print it with 0.4 or 0.5 if you want and accept the longer print time. In my opinion it is not worth the effort and the compromise in print quality. Nozzles are also quite cheap.
  15. Great, thanks a lot for sharing your gcode. And the result looks very nice and clean!
  16. When you want to print with line widths like 0.6 or 0.8 you also have to change the nozzle. You cannot print 0.8 line width with a 0.4 nozzle. That's the reason why there are different nozzle sizes available.
  17. Hopefully yes, but it also depends on some libraries which are used by Cura. But Ultimaker is aware and they are working on it. Do you have any issues with your M1 Mac? On mine it is working fine so far.
  18. Your workaround sounds good, but you can also pause the print directly on the printer too. That's they way I do a filament change during the print, when the spool is empty. The downside is, you have to watch the print, but as far as I understood you have to change is soon after the print start, so not a big deal. If I remember correctly it is a behavior (bug?) of Cura, but not 100% sure.
  19. It has nothing to do with the Cura version. Also technical it is not possible, because the leveling is a firmware feature, which kicks in before the gcode is executed. There could be several reasons for this: print core part fans or the wires of the fans sensor board a loose wire of the sensor board the bed height, when using the thumb screw (you could try to bring it a bit higher or lower) electrical interferences the lift switch of the printhead is not working correctly ..... It is really hard to find and to solve. I also have seen personally the issue you have described, that it is working after the retry. You can also search the forum here for other postings and advises, there are a lot. Or just contact your reseller for further help. Unfortunately it is nothing where we can say, hey do xyz and then it is fixed. Sorry!
  20. Yes it is and I know and understand that some people want to do more and want to have more control, but on the other side, the UM2+C is my most used printer, I really love it and never had the need to fine tune something during the print. I also had a Prusa printer some time ago and there I often had the need to tune something during the print, but not with an Ultimaker printer. The only thing that is really missing is the pause feature, but as far as I know, it will come in the future.
  21. CarloK is working at Ultimaker, so he has his sources 🙂 And if I am not completely wrong he is in the firmware team, so he probably wrote the code for it.
Danke!
