Ha Nice! Joyeux Noel!

This year I made a deck of card for a memory game for the kids with the picture of everyone in the family. 14 members X 2 and the box. Everyone is looking good and weird at the same time so it should be pretty funny to test the ego of everyone. :D

And a beatify vase for mom!

I stacked them in a single image, cleaned them (masks, grayscale, removed shadow and highlights, added some volume) and did some displacement in 3dsMax inside the modeled picture frames. The top of the frame doesn't come out well. I'll have to fix that.

I have 3 sets to print and it takes ~18 hours each. But today I'll give just one...

I guess I'll have to jump in after that to lower the average a bit :p

Just a few simple cover thingies to make the bolts less prone to stabbing someone.

Someone (sockles) went through the trouble of making a wooden holder for the ratchet wrench.

Not bad but I think the wood is worth way more than the wrench :)

I haven't done a torque test, but I was able to put the same amount of force as a similar sized wrench.

I would need to test to destruction to know for sure how many NM / FTlbs, but again that comes to how well it is printed :)

I am in New Brunswick right now, when I get back to Houston, if I find the time I can try to break one :D

This: printed this on the Kossel, it's 28.5 cm high, printed in XT. @255, 0.6 nozzle, 0.2 layer height, spiralize. It's water tight.

from the 3D printing point of view something to be happy about ... :)

from the safety (of the lock) point of view rather something to worry about ... :O

Yes, considering all I had to do was a quick scan and literally 30 minutes later had a working key.

I presume I could use the same technique with most standard keys.
