Saw this floating around Thingiverse and decided to give it a try, and I was not disappointed. This has to be one of my favorite prints - it's so funny, and yet so simple. The black PLA/PHA ColorFabb I used makes this look awesome. Really cool print! And, it actually WORKED! It held water! And it DIDN'T melt, even when I cranked the shower heat all the way up! I would definitely reccomend giving this a try - you won't regret it!

Laberns shroud in copper for UM2

just a test to see if the plate is enough to stop any warping, my early tests showed it should work, but im not sure if the fact its copper and conducts heat well will be an issue that effects the print? might be better might be worse, its very light so that is a plus!
the coat is not ideal and imperfect due to its size, but as an experiment......ill allow it.

Piggy money box

This is a remix of my good old ceramic piggy bank. As my second son wanted one too, I scanned the original (using a Ciclop 3D scanner), then modified it in Blender (mostly using a decimate modifier and the Tissue addon).
It must be printed with supports, so the bottom part need some work to be nice, but you barely see it.
I printed it at 0.2mm layer height, for time reason of course, but should be nicer at 0.1mm height.

"The Visitor" aka Little John

This is 3D model we made, based on the statue "The Visitor".

I sliced the model with Simplify3D so I could use the double-process feature. The bottom 3 centimeters have an infill of 60% and the rest is 15%. This makes the statue much more stable on my desk.
Printed with Colorfabb standard White on my UM2+ extended.
I'll be printing a whole collection of these little johns very soon.

Small planter with procedural texture

There is a hole so that the water doesn't stay at the bottom of the planter.
