  1. But it happens only on a dual extruder printer, UM2 works fine.
  2. It seems there is a problem with the material_weight, it is always 0 also after slicing. print_time_* works fine.
  3. A 10mm nozzle, how cool is that ! Amazing!
  4. Depends on the product you have. A door for the UM3 is an add on, the original version has no door and no hinges. Take a look on Thingiverse or Youmagine, there are several models for DIY doors, maybe one of them fits your door.
  5. It is a bug in the firmware 5.4.6 and since a few hours you should see a firmware update message on your printer to downgrade to 5.2.11. If not, check manually for a new firmware you will see that the printer reports 5.2.11 again as the new one to downgrade.
  6. There is actually a problem in 5.4, with the retract or too long retract at the end of a job. Seems not to happen every time, but there are some users which have reported it. The result of this bug is, that when starting a new print, the filament isn't transported far enough to extrude at the beginning. But I don't know if it is a mistake or if it is really a planned roll back. But it can't hurt to go back to 5.2.11.
  7. I had the same and also asked me if there is a roll back. But it seems not, I guess it is a mistake.
  8. No it is currently not possible to view the webcam via the app or the UM cloud. Assigning an public IP to your printer or put the printer to the internet is a very bad idea! Of course you are then able to view your webcam, but everyone is also able to connect to your printer to abort a print, send a new job, send bad gcode or whatever. So never do that! Depending on your network router at home you could configure a VPN, then you are able to connect to your VPN at home and view the video stream. For configuring a VPN there are several options, your router is one possibility, but you can also achieve it with an Raspberry PI or something like that. It is too complicated to explain it here, but to point you in the right direction.

    X/Y/Z Achsen

  10. Yes The leveling process is based on capacity, the bed moves up and the sensor measures the distance. When the nozzle touches the glass, the bed still moves a little bit up and the measurement process knows, ok now the value don't change anymore, so I am touching the glass. When watching the leveling process it looks more dramatically as it is, so don't worry about.
  11. Cannot work because in our direction the model just touch a bit the glass plate. Turn it around to have a thicker base on the build plate.
  13. Never heard about that and I haven't noticed it with my CC core. When I print with the CC core, the printer is leveling as always, no difference. And this is good, because also with the CC core or 3DSolex you want to have a good first layer. And I also don't understand why the ruby insert should damage something. The nozzle is just touching the glass, nothing more.
  14. Try to set all speeds to the same value like this: And set also the jerk speeds to the same value. And do the next test print with a speed of 30mm/s to see if the issues are gone when printing so slow.
  15. With ssh into the printer you can do and change anything - it is actually the firmware you are modifying there. I don't know what you have to change or which files you need to edit, but I don't recommend to do that. You can easily brick your printer!
  16. No, the active leveling is done by the firmware, before the printer reads the gcode. So there is no way to suppress it from "outside" and the firmware itself has no option to disable it. The UM3 has the option, you can switch there to manual leveling, but UM says, due to the bigger build plate it is necessary to level every time - without any exceptions or options to turn it off. No chance - sorry!
  17. I am not an expert for the printer definition files, but I guess there are the "not allowed" areas defined and also a default location for the prime tower. When you just add a custom printer in Cura you will miss some features of the definition files. Take a look on Github, there is a wiki with some deeper information about the printer definition files and then check the included ones to get an idea how to create your own.
  18. Sorry, but it is not possible to disable the active leveling on the S5.
  19. Please report the issues with the retract and that it is not extruding from the start of a new print, to your reseller. This is the official way to report bugs and the reseller has to report it back to Ultimaker. That's the best way to get it fixed soon.
  20. No, as far as I know the brim is only a single layer and has the height of the initial layer.

    X/Y/Z Achsen

  23. If you mean the brim width, then this is possible. Just use the search field to get the setting:
  25. Ja die Layernummer steht neben dem Slider.
