  2. Hi, I wanted to use the post processing plugin "Pause at height" to swap filament during a dual-color print (so I can have three colors). The problem is that the plugin interface sets default values for the "standby temperature" and "resume temperature". This basically destroyed my print since after the pause the printer tried to extrude at 70 degrees (feeder just kept going eating into the filament). Did anyone experience the same problem or am I doing something wrong with this plugin?
  4. Don't know what to make of it. I have the latest firmware as of Feb. 2018.
  5. Weird, I printed your .gcode file. I had TPU loaded in the first print (AA 0.4) core and nothing in the second (BB 0.4) print core. I did override the warning that the filament does not match. And it really looks like the z doesn't move. I let it print for several layers and the first print core just printed layer over layer. I only heard the sound of the z-screw when the head moved about with PVA (z-hop).
  6. Ah ok, now I get it. This is the "prime tower". It is used for dual extrusion prints. Just untick it.
  7. Hi, did this happen only lately or was it always like this with small pillars? I have no experience with Anet printers, but maybe the cooling is not optimal. One small trick is to print two of these objects at the same time so the layers on the small pillar have time to cool off. Or print just your regular object and add a small dummy object - just so the print head moves to another spot and gives your main object time to cool.
  8. Check the "support extruder" settings. If you print with PLA/PVA the default is to print support with the 2nd extruder (PVA).
  9. Hi, check out this tutorial on how to authenticate to the UM3 API: https://community.ultimaker.com/topic/15604-inside-the-ultimaker-3-day-3-remote-access-part-2/
  10. Doh, right - that was it. Ok, I will do this anyway since I want to use the Octoprint plugin.
  11. When slicing for an UM2+ I am unable to set the material temperature temperature. According to the tooltip in the settings, temperature controls are hidden by "auto temperature" or "enable nozzle temperature control". However I am not able to find "enable nozzle temperature control". Looks like bug to me - thoughts?
  12. If you mean the outline around the yellow object - that's just that the outline
  13. Hi, could you post a screenshot of that?
  14. Not sure what happens there. Maybe the hotend is not reporting the right temperature and the printer has a hard time extruding consistently. Just to rule out a missing shell, select another infill type - something distinctive that would look different so we can tell if is the infill or a badly printed shell.
  15. Hi, which slicer did you use to prepare the print? If it was Cura, then activate the "layer view" with the switcher in the top right and check how the model would be printed. To me this print looks like the other shell has been left out.
  17. No idea, I dragged the screenshot of the entire Cura window in the reply field. I will reproduce the problem and attach the Cura log here.
  18. If we are to report problems here, then I have a new one. There is nothing in the monitoring tab after I start a print. Using the app I can see the video feed so the printer API is working.
  19. Ok, then these issues still persist. I haven't encountered any lately but maybe I didn't hit some special cases. If you want to help to improve the UM3 then please list all problems here - as detailed as possible. Thanks!
  20. It depends on the printer you have set up. Do you use an UM3? If yes, then check this Github issue: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues/3121
  21. Hi, did you update to the latest firmware version? I remember that some of these problems have been fixed with later versions.
