I hope google translated this correctly 🤞
  2. Ah! Thanks for sharing, @Fradow I'll let the team know so the page can be updated. 👍
  3. I'm really enjoying the enthusiasm over here! 😃 How did your print came out @Kotaztrafee ?
  4. Hey @Who2022, I've had someone from the team comb through your logs but they can’t find anything that looks like it could be related to the mouse not working. Sorry about that. I'm at a bit of a loss at how to help you. Maybe these questions help. Am I seeing correctly that it worked before and suddenly stopped working? Could this be related to something else that happened on your device? Did you install a new program or driver? Are there any other programs where the mouse stops working? Is Layer View Compatibility mode turned on in Cura (you can see this in preferences)?
  5. Hey @Aidanvine39 Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🎉 Can you share your logs with us? It can also be a private message. Than I can have someone from the team look at it so we can either troubleshoot what is wrong or we can log it as a bug that we can try to resolve. You can follow the instructions here https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015583819-Save-log-files-to-USB Thank you!
  6. Hey @jayfarm, Welcome to the Ultimaker Community! 🎉 This seems like an issue we have seen in older versions of Cura. Are you using Cura 5.1? Can you share your project file? I would love to have someone from the Cura team look at it! To save a project file go to File -> Save project. Don't forget, G-code files are not project files! Thank you!
  7. This was the result I was able to get. It's indeed careful mesh placement. There is a gap, in the preview but the letters are on there very snuggly. UMS5_MariEdit.3mf If you are worried about the snuggness you can reduce the Fuzzy Skin Thickness. Good luck!
  8. The solidworks plugin was created by members from the community. The Native CAD Plug-in from Ultimaker support solidworks files. https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022116740-Opening-native-CAD-files-in-Ultimaker-Cura It's part of the paid subscription levels Professional or Excellence. You can learn more about them here: https://ultimaker.com/software/plans
  9. Hey @Atomic0534, Welcome to the Ultimaker community! 🎉 I took a look at the files and they do not seem to be made for 3D printing. The fact that it takes soo long to load them is already a good indication. I'm getting mesh errors and if you look at the models in the prepare screen you see these discolorations that indicate that the models are not watertight. There are a couple of things you can try to fix them. 1. There is a mesh tools plugin that can fix simple geometries. 2. You can upload your models in a mesh simplification tool like this one from MyMiniFactory 3. You can try to load the models in TinkerCad, fix and download them again. They often produce watertight models as exports. 4. You can also just remove the faulty models from your buildplate or try to slice them one at a time. I hope this helps. Good luck! 💪
  10. Hey @Kotaztrafee, Ah! This sounds like a super interesting challenge to solve. Do you have a project file for us so we can help you troubleshoot? To save a project file go to File -> Save project I really think it requires just a few tweaks to get it to work.
  11. Hey @jvl Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🎉 You seem to have some unretracted travels that result in stringing. You can see that they are unretracted since the lines are dark blue. If you change the combing mode to Off you see they turn lighter blue. Hope this helps! 🤞 Good luck! 👍
  12. Hey @EasyGoing1 I'm really curious, what problem are you trying to solve by changing the gcode? There might be a different approach that involves less coding 😉 If it comes to changing Gcode I usually use the Post Processing Script Did you try that one yet?
  13. Hey @7milesup, Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🎉 Yes! The Variable Linewidth can be found in all Cura versions that start with 5. We've collected and processed all the feedback we collected during the Alpha and Beta periods in there. You can download the latest version here: https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura Good luck and happy printing!
  14. Hey @paulsroom, Can you share your project file with us? 🤔 That makes it easier to troubleshoot. To save a project file go to File -> Save project. From your screenshot I indeed see travels. It's good to keep in mind that the darker blue travels are unretracted and will leave strings, the lighter blue travels will be retracted and should not leave any strings. Stringing should only occur inside of your model since that part is not visible or between supports since that will be removed anyways. It's a tricky model to print! Are you sure this is the best orientation to print it? I would be worried that I would break off the teeth of the shark when removing the supports. I depending on the purpose I would have the pointy parts point up. Can you let us know if this helps and what other help you need? Thank you 😄
  15. Hey @Collodi_Knives, There are three solutions that jump to mind when I read your problem. 1. There is a settings called Lift Head that moves the nozzle away from the printjob if the layers are small and pointy. Is this hapening on a specific type of printjob or different types. 2. The first firmware on the Ultimaker S5s would leave a blob, by leaving the nozzle on the print by accident. But That should be easily resolved with just updating your firmware. 3. You can add a Pause at Height script if you know what your second to last layer is. But this seems like a band-aid rather than a solution to your problem. If this doesn't help, we'll need a little bit more information on your printer, type of firmware, Cura version and any modifications. Let's hope this works! 🤞
  16. Hey @oskars Can you double check if your bed is levelled correctly? You can find the instructions here: https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011886719-Build-plate-leveling-on-the-Ultimaker-2-
  17. Hey @xshhmackx, Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🎉 Ugh, sorry to hear you are stuck. I'll need a little more information. Can you let me know a little more about the type of laptop you are working on? If you have a set-up with multiple monitors, perhaps you can try this fix:
  18. Hey @bfung, I moved your bug report away from this thead because they seem unrelated We've been getting a number of reports on multiple monitor set-ups, unfortunetly it seems something that seems to be out of our control for now,. See https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-105070 We've also seen users that report another cause which is related to your Nahemic driver. A way to resolve it can be found here: Can you let us know if the fix works for you? 👼
  19. Hey @constantine42, Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🎉 Unfortunetly I do not have a Kobra Max Printer so I cannot help you there. Let's hope that there is someone in the community that can help you out. I did notice that the type of post processing script you use matter on different printers. If you are stuck I reccommend experimenting with the different settings here until you find some that work for you. Good luck!
  20. Hey @Electricfuse Thanks for the post 👍 @geert_2 is right, it's an overhang problem. If you check the model before slicing you'll see these red parts indicating that the overhang is too large and Cura suggests you should turn on supports. I think enabling supports and changing them from Standard to Tree might be fitting in this case 😉 🌳 If you don't want the supports to be everywhere you should change the Support Overhang Angle or start introducing support blockers. You can also consider changing settings like Overhang Wall Speed or the more Make Overhang Printable in experimental. The last one will change how your model looks like so might be a bit too extreme of a measure. If you want to learn more about the different settings I often reccommend installing the Cura Settings Guide: https://marketplace.ultimaker.com/app/cura/plugins/Ghostkeeper/SettingsGuide2 Good luck and happy printing! 💪
  21. Hey @guna, Ugh, that looks really off. 😦 You can try to perform some maintanance on your axis. Instructions can be found here: https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011529260-Check-for-play-on-the-Ultimaker-S-line-axles There could also be some shifting on your buildplate. What type of adhesion are you using? Did the printjob come loose during printing? Is your buildplate secured snuggly in the clips? It could also be settings/temperature related. Can you share your project file with us? To save a project file go to File -> Save project. Thank you 🥰
  22. Je parle Francais un petit peut. Mai je pense j'ai quelque chose que tu peux essayer. Did you check if there is any debris in your bottom z switch? It tends to get clogged with primeblobs. Are you sure you have the correct firmware on your UM2+, you could have a firmware for the UM2+ extended by accident instead. You can also check this support page for help and if you are still stuck it includes a link to reach out to our support experts. https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011640360-Z-Switch-Broken-ER05
  23. @gr5 to the rescue! 🚑 That's a great suggestion. If you are not in a position to print the part you need. I suggest to start a hardware enquiry, you'll be directed to our resellers who have access to spare parts and can help you out. You can put in a ticket here: https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000516360
  24. Hey @FishGuy Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that you are stuck. That's a super extensive troubleshooting list. The things I would still check is the state of the data cable from the printhead going to the motherboard. Is it clicked in snuggly? Is it damaged? Something I easily overlook myself is the Lift switch calibration. Is it being performed correclty? The capacitive sensor might be affected to other things in the room. Is there heavy machinery nearby? Or is the room exposed to any other vibrations? If this doesn't help you can try to consult this support page. https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013133699-Active-leveling-errors The last step on this troubleshooting website is to submit a ticket to the Ultimaker support specialists. Good luck! 🤞
