  1. This seemed familiar to me and I found another thread that had this issue Neo's suggestion should fix you!
  2. Well despite being very late, you should have it soon?
  3. I've been buying my ColorFabb filament from PrintedSolid.com MatterHacker has some excellent offerings as well. Seattle is nice...but I am on the opposite, Atlantic coast
  4. I am noticing longer threads are problem with notifications (not bringing you to the latest post). Such as the "What would you like to see in an Ultimaker 3" and other lengthy discussions.
  5. Why is that? I'd certainly like to know what temp it is using so I can decide if that is too low or high.
  6. I'm thinking my profile got clobbered or something is up with the 2.3 beta...I can't get Bed Temp and Print Temps to show up on the Ultimaker Original (with heated bed) or for the UM2. I go to settings to enable them and there's an "i" in front of them....but no way to make that appear in the menu. I sort of seem stuck in a loop
  7. 45 C seems pretty cool for the heated bed I'd bring that up to 60 C
  8. Sounds fun, @gr5 ! Suggestion...post the dates and website so more know about it! Wish I could go!
  9. I was wondering if the click was the feeder too. Is the filament being ground up in there? Slipping? Have you been experiencing under-extrusion in prints?
  10. I'd check the label on each power supply brick and see what each is rated for. On my heated bed upgrade to my UMO, I really had to screw down hard on the terminals to make a good connection. When I was reading your post, I was thinking you might have had the same issue I had. But if you have a weak power supply, that'll cause problems!
  11. Well @neotko put an Ultimaker 2 print head on his UMO+ and I think he detailed that process elsewhere in the forum.
  12. Well, I don't think you can follow along in English but here's a good review by Thomas
  13. That's good to know. I think PrintedSolid sells an enclosure for the UM2. Maybe I was a bit too hard on nGen. Perhaps it's what I should use for my BB-8 build after all.
  14. @2humble. I see it on Fabrc8's page http://fbrc8.com/collections/ultimaker-original-spare-parts/products/umo-heated-bed-upgrade-kit
  15. I did see some courses are coming up and plan to enroll in those. I'd sure like to be a liaison for schools and I should see what my University currently offers. Many ideas...!
  16. Sounds very interesting! I know I would like to get Ultimaker printers into the local schools here.
  17. Oh what a headache, I wonder why it started doing that to you?
  18. @Xeno I feel your pain. I pondered for weeks my UMO purchase and as luck would have it, the UM2 came out 13 days later. Since I bought a kit, no refund Arrrgggggghhhhhh.
  19. I was getting some hanging too. I closed the program and opened it again...loaded my STL and it sliced fine the second time around
  20. You read my mind...I was going to mention that! (I appreciate you detailing the fix, too)
