  1. Ho no. I wasn't proposing switching to something manual. The update would still be made automatically when changing something but only the part of the post process plugins would be required to run instead of the entire slicing so it would become close to instant. PU might be around the corner it's true.

  3. @Dim3nsioneer, do you think it would be worth looking at caching the slice result prior to post process plugins? This way we could change plugin settings without needing to re-slice the model. I know where the cache could be made but don't know if the plugin settings are triggering the update using the default procedure. That could make quite a nice speedup.
  4. The only thing I dont understand is the hesitation of the head around letters. You can clearly see it in the video. Its causing the echo effect BEFORE the letter gets printed. You can also see it when doing the backside sometimes. Is it just to much information to manage for the firmware? The slower versions suffer less of that behavior.
  5. Yes of course but the heater block seems to perform really well and maintain the temp A1.
  6. So how was your week? I've been super busy the last 2 weeks and I'm on my way to GDC in San Francisco now. If anyone else is going let me know and we can have a beer or coffee and talk!
  7. Haha nice idea. I also did a test with FlexPLA with the 0.6mm nozzle Result: Ultimaker bracelet printed in a little more than 3 min. 0.2mm layers, 1.2mm walls, 90mm/s. So is that 21.6mm^3/s ? Please ignore the horrible sound. My hand was placed on the mic and it made some weird distortion.
  8. Hi Nacho, I released a new version on youmagine that should fix your issue. I have only tested it a little due to my horrible schedule at the moment. I hope this can help you. https://www.youmagine.com/designs/swap-at-z
  9. Hello, I finially got some time to install the new heater block and its running like a charm. Did my first print with it and it's looking good! Now this is not for self promotion but since my info are already available in the code I figured I it would not change much to leave it there
  10. Hi, Yes I know how to fix it. I just need the time to do it. I had the same issue with spiralize mode.
  11. Well to do adeep clean you need to take it off. If you just want to clean the surface while its on the printer you can do the following: - head the nozzle to about 200C - using pliers you can remove the black stuff by GENTLY scrubbing the surface of the nozzle. - or use a brass wire brush to brush the durt off - or use a cleaning tissue, fold it two three times and rub the nozzle to wipe it.
  12. oui ça pourrait être cool comme plugin mais un problème persisterait. La taille de la tête d'impression est beaucoup plus grande que la taille de la buse. De plus la buse est en entonnoir donc il serait impossible d'imprimer très prêt d'une surface vertical.
  13. Do you see the X button on the top right corner of the plugin? If not then you need to stretch the size of the panel a bit. So you have your sd card connected but it doesn't show you the save to sd card icon? Go in File->Preferences and make sure the Auto detect sd card is checked. The sd card icon is there but nothing happen when you click on it? Go in File->Preferences remove the "base folder to replicate on sd card"
  14. Quel version de firmware as-tu d'installé? Les versions avant 14.07 avaientt un problème de constance sur la hauteur du plateau.
  15. Its taking a lot of space but it looks pretty good . Keep it up!
  16. does it do the same if you dont trigger the change material?
  17. layer height is different. It makes hell of a difference Edit: shell thickness too but that will cause less changes. By the way you should try keeping the shell thickness to a multiplier of the nozzle size. If the nozzle is 0.4mm use 0.4, 0.8, 1.2,... for shell
  18. from the path you shared click on view next to the step file. Then click on raw and it will open the step file in your browser (or maybe ask to save the file depending on your browser). You can then save the file itselft. In Chrome use the main control menu and click save page as.

    cura v15.01

En effet on cherche a reproduire le bug pour le régler. Entre temps tu peux enlever le path dans File->Preference->SD card base path. http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/9595-toolpath-to-sd-cura-1501/
  20. Many CAD software support step files. You can load STEP files in Designspark Mechanical and export it as STL. Then you can load it in Meshlab and export it as dxf.
  21. worry not friend. It is your birthday today: http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/calendar/ Happy birthday buddy!
