  1. I think this is the best one we have in our office Fully printed in PLA Flex Alternatively, SLEM makes 3D Printed shoes out of Ninjaflex.
  2. hmm.. I thought PVA should have some bond with PLA. Have you tried different types of PVA, could there be a difference? Have you tried your PVA with ABS? Is there a difference?
  3. Please keep it friendly people. If you need to be reminded about the house rules of the forum, here is a link. If there is any news on this topic from Ultimakers behalf we'll get in touch with you, and update this topic.
  4. @valcrow, maybe it is because I am still just on my second cup of coffee but I'm having difficulties visualizing what you mean. Not sure what I did when I was making this part, but it came out pretty nice. I only had to clean 1 peg with a knife and that was 2 sec of work. I believe I did print like 2 or 3 to allow the layers to cool and print fairly slow.
  5. Close to two weeks to go, curious to see what other type of upgrades we will see! Initially I figured I would see upgrades to cars / car-kits, fixtures, things around the house / office and maybe even cats
  6. Well, its good that we have figured out what caused it and you can continue 3D Printing again. We have all learned something, a possible alternative cause for such behaviour which is never wasted
  7. I printed the exact same thing for the cabinet in my bathroom
  8. @Nicolinux, double win; and submitting an entry and solving someone elses problem! @Titus, is this the style you had in mind? Maybe you can inspire some other contributors as well
  9. When this contest is over we will continue hosting other contests in the same collaboration categorie. Topics will vary and so will prizes. The main idea is to keep it fun and educational.
  10. I took note of your questions and am currently waiting for a reply which hopefully contains some more information regarding your specific order. I did hear that this week we will ship out a new batch to our EU resellers so hopefully that includes your order. Will get back with you once I have more information. Again our apologies for the inconvenience.
  11. Wow, awesome!! The photo where you wear it is pretty great! Will it have LEDs? Other cool gadgets? Unfortunately I have not seen the movie yet. I understand it is under your recommendation?
  12. No, it just means the Ultimaker Original + dropped in price. Pretty much as simple as that
  13. Hi @Wisar and @Esteban-pacheco, thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear you are still waiting for your upgrade. I'm sure they will be delivered quickly. I would recommend to get in touch with your reseller about information regarding your order. Since you purchased your upgrade with them they should be able to give you a better reply than I could. I'll see what information I can find in terms of upgrade kits being shipped to our distributors. Good luck!
  14. Hi @Sealfish, you will not void your warranty by upgrading your Ultimaker 2 using this upgrade. Good luck!
  15. What happened that made it stop mid-print? Did the power drop? Did it just stop moving, did it fail?
  16. wow very cool. Is it your own suit? ... did you drink a lot of heavy liquor and smoke cigars to match his super low dark voice? Wonder woman looks great too.. can't help but feel Superman took the easy way out
  17. That is the beauty of digital fabrication. You can just download this and make it Here is a full list of items you can print to store your nozzles and potentially other tools. Alternatively, I really like @DidierKlein's solution too. Or if you feel like making your own I'm looking forward to see what you'll be designing!
  18. Ok, allow me to clear up some of the confusion. Even though there can be some tolerance in the nozzle size, I don't believe this was the original reason why this change in nozzle size surfaced. And I don’t think it is that much either. The Olsson Block uses different nozzles than the nozzles that were included in the Ultimaker 2 originally. Mainly the internal chamber is different, and it had an affect on the way it cooped with oozing. So we changed the printing profile for the Ultimaker 2+ (which always has these OB-nozzles) to achieve the results we grew accustomed to, which unfortunately lead to a bug for the regular Ultimaker 2 profile. So there was a change for the Ultimaker 2+, and it also affected the regular Ultimaker 2 print profile. But with the latest Cura download, all is good and it is resolved For the new version of Cura which Didier had a presentation about, it indeed has some interesting approaches about line width (among others!). More about that, when the new Cura is being launched So if you download Cura 15.04.5 all should be good again!
  19. I used my best trackpad-photoshop skills to illustrate how you should pull out those plugs. If you grab them by that 'edge', you can't really break anything. Just pull it out. Edit, by the way, I don't think you have to pull out all the motors, just the Extruder. But I couldn't tell, and I didn't remember by heart, which one that was on this picture. But you get the idea, right?
  20. If you follow this link you should be able to add images to an album. Once you have you can use the second right icon in this text editor to select your uploaded image and paste it in your reply. It is hard to give you any further pointers without knowing what you are struggling with.
  21. It should be in the feeder, between the screw and the feeder where you mount it to the plate. > or feeder and screw M3x10mm.
  22. Sorry, it isn't. It is a model made by an English engineer for us as a gift The files are not our property.
