Looks interesting!

The first one looks like an ordinary UM S5, because of the presence of door hinges and two extrusion tubes. But in relation, the hinge and the touchscreen look bigger than on the S5, so I assume the whole thing is way smaller than the S5. Maybe it will be a UM S5mini or UM 3mini with doors?

Second one could be a SLA printer, but the key word is "continuous" and the touchscreen is located in the middle of the front so my guess is a printer which can either change the build plate itself or remove the print by itself to continue with the next print by himself.

This would be awesome!

Looks like we're finally getting that Ultimaker lawnmower.

😒And I hoped it would be that long-promised toaster.

I'm hoping for a modern um2+ with enclosure!

    UM2+ Reloaded!

Would you believe I still use my 5.5 years-old UM2 and it is as good as ever?

If time comes to replace it, just another one of the same class would do.

Good news, I saw this yesterday just as I registered my account here.  Bad news...  This is delaying my S5 purchase.

You want to see what that lawnmower is all about before purchasing a 3d printer. Makes sense 😉

It's obviously nothing more than an Ultimaker with "black chassis option"...

As long as they also add the option to turn the LED frame lights from white to red or blue, I'm cool with it. 😄

There we have it! A ride-on lawnmower with RGB lights - makes sense! (and it don't even needs a lawn to look good)

And let's hope that there's an option to switch the lights off at night... this time... 😝

My guess is S5 with aluminum bed and glass frame.

    Ultimaker Classic / Classic +?

And the second some sort of resin, maybe with quick swap vat/bed or something along those lines. Really want Ultimaker to move away from the UM3 and S5 style nozzle and back to something more along the lines of the UM2+ olsson block(with some updates/improvements of course). I can dream i suppose.

    Ohh some exciting news lol!

I'm curious as to the developments as not even quite sure if beating the Um2+ for quality is even possible?

But continuous printing, a conveyor belt? and exit door at the back? hmmm not long to wait now....

Id like to know what it is.

Sla has become main stream so it seems like they may go that route.

To bad my um2 extended is custom build and runs great.

Then i got a elegoo mars sla a month ago.

They gotta bring something really great.

@orionz06 - keep in mind that when new products are announced they don't necessarily ship within a few months.  I think when the S5 came out it didn't ship until about a month later.  I think the *announcement* can be well before the *release*.  So I'm not sure you want to delay any purchases.

Maybe call your reseller and ask them for advice.  They might know what's coming.  They won't tell you but they can tell you if you should wait or not.

resin printer!??? that would be cool.  But didn't all the images show bowden tubes?  Hmm.  Resin printer with bowden tubes???  Seems unlikely?

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
