  1. Every UM reseller should have it. @fbrc8-erin can help you, but I don't know how it is handled with the different states and if you are close enough that it makes sense to order it there.
  2. Do you also see this "strange" layer in the preview?
  3. Yes the solution is 3 posts above. For your convenience, it is fixed in 4.8
  5. The fan is still available as spart part, just ask your reseller. And when leveling works without the fan, then you probably have a damaged fan cable. The fan creates a lot of interferences when a wire is damaged which causes problems with the capacity sensor used for the leveling process.
  8. Thanks for the feedback and happy printing 🙂
  9. Great that you were Abel to solve the problem. The bed springs should be not too soft and not too hard. If I remember correctly the distance between the two aluminum plates should be 14mm, not exact, round about.....
  10. Hi You are asking in the wrong forum, because Ultimaker don't maintain or support the BCN3D Cura version. So best you ask them or in their forum if they have one.
  11. Thats another story, but is also valid for the Google Play store. Epic has signed the contract and they were aware that it is not allowed to sell it outside of the App Store. Maybe I have luck, but never had a problem with it. I had problems with the MacBook 3 years ago as they launched the new thin keyboard. Apple changed the keyboard (whole top cover) 5 times on their costs. And last month I had a problem with my iPad Pro, went to the Apple Store and they replaced it 1:1 with a new (refurbished) one. And they were not able to reproduce the failure. So I am happy with the service. But I have to say, I have on most devices Apple Care and contact only Apple directly or an authorized reseller before we got an Apple store here.
  12. You can provide the app for free in the App Store. There is only a small yearly fee to be part of it. So from this point of view it is possible. But it is not possible to migrate Cura easily to iOS and then to maintain it with every release. It would need a completely rewrite and then you have two parallel code bases. I like my iPad Pro, it is a fantastic small device for a lot of things, but to design and to slice I still prefer a notebook or desktop. Yes for sure, I use Apple products for more then 15 years now and I have learnt that I never will switch back to Windows. I like the products and I have nearly all of them, but I know some people are more happy with other ones. I have tried an Android phone more than one time, but was not happy with it. But that's me, YMMV 😀
  13. From your description I would say it is the fan. Check the middle fan, it is the one in the door which start automatically when the print core is heating up and hotter than 40C or 50C. Maybe it is blocked by some filament strings or so.
  14. No, Cura is not available for iOS and I guess will never be, at least not in the near future. What are you using, Shapr? I was also searching for a CAD app and Shapr looked great, but too expensive with the monthly subscription.
  15. Would be helpful if you can describe what you have already done or checked. Is the feeder working? is the middle fan in the Print head working? Print core clogged? Print core replaced? do you have it on both print cores 1&2
  17. Hi When you contact an official reseller (like iGo3D) or someone in UK (check the UM website) they should be able to order any spare part for you. Often they don't have all the parts listed in their webshop but give them a call and you should get it.
  18. Klingt nach einem Plan 🙂 Schönes Wochenende!
  19. It is also a good project to use the leftovers of the spools and you get something useful which looks nice. I will print it too, my wife will surely be happy about it. Weather here is Austria is also not so nice, it gets dark at 5pm and it is cold and rainy.
  20. How many flowers did you print for the bowl?
  21. Very nice idea and looks really great and colorful! I like it 🙂
  23. It rarely happens, but it can happen. It is not the fault of your printer, maybe also not the spool. I cannot say why it happens, maybe a print with a lot of retractions and when the filament is too loose and the tension in the spool too high then the filament comes off the spool and gets tangled. I had it too, but only once - never happened again.
