  1. I guess the files that came with your printer are already pre-sliced, so you have a gcode file, right? These files are ready to print. When you download now an STL and slice it in Cura, then you should check if the printer/machine settings are correct for your printer.
  2. This "auto" retry happened to me also in the firmware before or even in 5.8.0 not sure. But I couldn't find out when or in which cases the printer will do this mystic reprint an aborted job.
  3. You should be able to configure the bed size under Settings - Printers and then click the button Machine settings.
  4. I am not sure, but I don't think that the S5 will be generally shipped with 2 build plates. It was only for the older printers that were sold with glass and aluminum plates and they had a kind of voucher in the box for the aluminum one. These customers got a second glass plate.
  5. Hi Unfortunately no. Normally you could manually edit the gcode, delete the lines for the other part (but they are mixed) and delete also the already printed layers of the right part. But when you start the "new" print job, the printer is doing its bed leveling and this is not possible with the already printed part. But even without the bed leveling problem, it is more time consuming than just to restart the job. Your left part failed because of the bed adhesion, you should use something to increase the adhesion on the glass, like Dimafix spray or glue stick. I prefer Dimafix for ABS.
  6. This reset (not a factory reset) "repairs" a lot of strange issues.
  7. I am glad to hear that! Thanks for the feedback
  8. I recently found to materials from Formfutura, they say that it is watertight, so it should be air tight too. Formfutura Python Flex Formfutura Centaur PP But I think it is not a special formula of the Formfutura material. So as Sander already said, UM TPU could work for that as well because I guess the Python Flex is also TPU.
  9. Hi there is no API or something like that, but you can use Cura also from the command line with tons of parameters. Search the forum here for some posts about it. So you could call the command line cura from your webpage to slice the file. If this is really accurate enough to calculate pricing and such things, I don't know...
  10. Hey, looks nice! But show us some results of your printer as well please.....
  12. Hi Do you use also a recent version of Cura? You can try to do a Cura Connect (Digital Factory) reset on the printer and then when the printer is up and running again, to restart Cura. Normally Cura should pop up with small notification message that it has to send missing materials to the printer.
  13. Do you see anything in the preview when you carefully scroll through the layers?
  14. There is an api call where you can set the brightness, so yes should be possible. Check out the documentation here: http://<your printer ip>/docs/api/#/
  15. Theoretically yes, but I haven't found them in a quick search. But the UM2(+) firmware hasn't been updated in a long time, so 3.3 is the most recent official release which came with Cura 3.x (don't know the exact version). The firmware images are included in Cura, so you don't need to download them separately, just do the update from Cura and you should be fine.
  16. I just found an old bug which causes exactly your behavior. So please update your firmware, this should fix the issue.
  17. Please save the project in Cura and upload it here, otherwise it is hard to give some adivces.
  18. 120 is the default travel speed for your printer.
  19. Your line colours are completely different from the defaults, so the orange lines are normally blue and these are the travel paths. Latest stable Cura is 4.7, but the line colours were always the same.
  20. I never noticed it, because I nearly never look at the gocde. But can you please report it here https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues/new/choose as well, this is the official channel for reporting bugs. Thanks!
  21. Also want the mention that the ApolloX material is really great, very easy to print and the results are nice. I think I will order some more ApolloX spools.
  22. Just want to link a posting from Ralphoosh here too, because I think it is important when someone else reads his posting above and thinks that he just has joined the community to rant. We all know how hard the start into 3D printing could be, so we wish him good luck and success.
  23. No issues found so far, works great and the collapse feature is really nice if you need more screen space for some reason. But I am continue testing during my daily work.
