Hallo ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass die Größe auch in der Firmware hinterlegt ist. Wenn du den Developer Mode aktivierst über das Setting Menü am Drucker, dann kannst du mit SSH auch den Drucker drauf und dir alles anschauen.

Your answer is now as helpful as before, I have no idea what problem you have exactly. It's the same as saying I can slice all my models with Cura without any problems, that probably won't help you either.

With the Tinker FW you can set the steps directly via the menu. I don't know out of my head where it is but look through the menu. you can also check it with the gcode M503 if I am not wrong to see the stored values.

You should give us more information about what is exactly not working for you. A STL or project files is also very helpful.

No it was not me, but it is really easy. Download the image from the download link. Then download and install the Etcher tool, which is needed to transfer the image to the SD card. When you don't need WiFi and use an erhernet cable, you can put the SD card back to the raspi and start it. With a browser go to the IP address of the raspi and follow the setup screen of octopi, that's it. And when you need WiFi, you have to edit a file on the SD card to add your WiFi SSID and password to have it ready when the raspi starts. This a bit complicated to explain in detail, but it is described on the website of octopi. That's it basically.....

You don't need any additional hardware or a WiFi dongle, the raspberry 4 has an integrated WiFi which works great. Regarding installing Octopi, I just followed the instructions on the octopi website. Download the image and copy it the the sd Card of the raspi. That's it basically.

Profil-Sync ist wenn du in Cura aus dem Marketplace ein Materialprofil runterladest, dass es dann von Cura auf den Drucker kopiert wird, damit du beim Laden dort auch gleich das Material auswählen kannst. Das klappt mit der derzeitigen Version 6 nicht mehr, weil Cura nicht mehr mit dem Drucker direkt kommunizieren kann/darf. Ich glaube UM arbeitet daran, dass dieser Sync dann auch über die Cloud/Digital Factory in Zukunft läuft. Ich habe auch die 5.8.1er drauf. Es gibt noch die 5.8.2er die ein paar Bugfixes für die MaterialStation hat, aber ich hab auch über ein paar Probleme gelesen glaube ich. Da ich keine MaterialStation habe, hat es für mich keinen Mehrwert und daher bleibe ich bei 5.8.1 bis dann eine endgültige 6er Version kommt.

It has nothing to do with the Octopi Plugin, but there is a known bug with Cura 4.8 and Big Sur. I have the same problem from time to time. Restarting Cura helps for a few moments.

Yes and always, but you can keep the bed at 60C otherwise your object has maybe not enough adhesion. Personally I print nearly everything with 30-35mm/sec or use the visual or engineering profiles from Cura. But I think your problem is also that the font is very small, can be just the picture, but it seems to me it is too small to get a good result. Would be better to use an AA 0.25 core, but this is probably not the best solution just the get a good readable text.

Nein. Die Firmware hat auch bis auf die "Firewall" keine weiteren Bugfixes oder Features drinnen. Sie ist nur veröffentlich worden da es anscheinend ein paar größere Firmen gibt, die unbedingt den Drucker vor Fremdzugriff (im eigenen Netz) schützen müssen. Ultimaker schreibt auch selbst dazu, dass man sie nur dann installieren sollte wenn man unbedingt dieses Sicherheitsfeature braucht, weil damit auch die Kommunikation zwischen Cura und Drucker abgedreht wird, kann man nur mehr über die Cloud drucken und der Material Profil Sync geht dann auch nicht mehr. Die Firmware wird auch am Drucker selbst nicht als Update angeboten. Und da die Version 6 auch ein Upgrade vom Linux OS ist, ist ein Downgrade nicht mehr möglich. Also ich würde das einstweilen bleiben lassen, bis eine endgültige Version verfügbar ist.

I had this problem too 2-3 times, but only after I aborted a print job. It seems it is a bug, but I just reboot the printer after I need to abort a print job and everything is fine. It never happened without aborting a print before. There are not spare parts for the print core, you can just replace the whole core.

Dimafix is great for material where you have to hotter bed like 80°C or more, but PLA it will not work well because you usually use 60°C for the bed. When you try a glue stick again, use UHU, because not all bands are working. Check out this video, how I apply the glue stick:

Stimmt schon, problematisch wird es, wenn das Zerlegen noch klappt und der Core dann undicht ist und der Kopf wieder geflutet wird. Wobei ich mir sicher bin, wenn die Düse innen so verstopft ist, bricht der Core sowieso auseinander wenn man ihn mit Gewalt versucht zu öffnen.

The adhesion sheets are not recommended for PLA and not needed. They are for more complicated materials. When you use glue stick on a clean glass, make a few stripes and then distribute the glue stick with a wet towel to get a thin even layer, it should work for PLA very well.

Vollständigkeitshalber möchte ich nochmals erwähnen, dass es nicht vorgesehen ist, dass die Print Cores zerlegt werden. Auch wenn es geht, die Gefahr, dass man sich den Core zerstört weil etwas abbricht oder der Core nach dem erneuten Zusammenbau nicht mehr dicht ist und man sich den Kopf wieder mit Filament "flutet" ist hoch. D.h. solche Basteleien erfolgen auf eigene Gefahr und ohne anschließender Beschwerde, dass es nicht gelungen ist 🙂 Meine generelle Meinung dazu ist, dass der Print Core sowieso ein Verbrauchsteil ist und man bei einem S5 nicht an solchen Dingen sparen sollte.

In that case, it should also be possible to adjust he rods with a ruler or something else to get approximately the same distance. Then print the tools and adjust the rods again. I think it is better to print the calibration stick one by one and not both at once. Then you have two identical sticks which should do the job. So I think it is not needed to "outsource" the print job....

The layer height is not the problem I think but there are more default profiles, so try the "Visual" one which should give better results.

Es könnte sein, dass eine frühere Cura Version vielleicht den Fehler nicht bemerkt hat und deswegen hat es trotzdem geklappt.

I am not sure if I understand it, so please upload the STL if possible. Is the holder closed at the bottom? Because when you print it in normal orientation like on the first picture, there should be infill inside of the object.

Hallo Dein Model ist nicht in Ordnung, das sagt dir Cura schon beim Laden des Models. Beim Slicen entstehen dann verschiedene "komische" Dinge die nicht passen. Du kannst das Modell hier reparieren lassen, klappt nicht immer, aber oft wird es damit wieder gut: https://service.netfabb.com/service.php Hier im Anhang das korrigierte STL vom oben genannten Service. StickV32_fixed.stl Hab dann auch noch dein original STL geliced und sehe auch die Schichten drinnen. Die reparierte Version hat das nicht mehr und Cura bringt beim Laden auch keine Warnung mehr.

No, for me that's too much 🙂 But keep in mind that your hot end should be able to melt a lot of filament in a very short time. Most hot ends are not able to do this.

Printing slow solves most issues, so select carefully the profile in Cura, a fast or draft profile is often not the best choice. Which profile did you use?

Du könntest nur noch versuchen vorsichtig von unten von der Spitze mit einer dünnen Nadel das Loch irgendwie frei zu bekommen. Ob das gelingt ist eine andere Frage, aber ich vermute, dass da innen irgendwas blockiert, was du dadurch vielleicht frei bekommst. Du solltest den Printcore soweit frei bekommen, dass du dann mit dem normalen Hot/Cold Pulls weitermachen kannst.
