  1. @rigs , is your Bondtech QR adapter available somewhere as step file or similar? It has too much play in my case and turns very easily.
  2. When you checked everything and didn't find anything wrong you can assume it was a false alert. Maybe you want to stay with the printer for a minute in order to make sure it does not throw another false alert a few seconds later.
  3. It should be fixed for Ultimaker S5 and Ultimaker 3 in Cura 3.5.
  4. Vermutlich die drei vertikal übereinander angeordneten Punkte, welche für ein Menu stehen, in dem die Option "Druckauftrag löschen" drin ist ?
  5. If you have a look at the TDS of Ultimaker PC you will see that some specs are different for clear PC compared to white/black. That means you have to consider them being two slightly different materials.
  6. Personally, I think 8 extruders are enough for the time being. There are more pressing things to change in Cura.
  7. Some people claim that few drops of water or isopropanol help to get the print off the sheet. You also could put the glass with the sheet and the print into the freezer, that helps.
  8. Have you seen this guide: https://ultimaker.com/en/resources/22187-how-to-use-adhesion-sheets ? Both applying and removing like this worked pretty well so far for me.
  9. Is the PVA sizzling on extrusion? Then it has picked up moisture and needs to be regenerated: https://ultimaker.com/en/resources/52682-how-to-dry-pva
  10. Is that the standard Ultimaker glass plate? It looks different but it could be the light situation. I see something like tiny white sparkles on that build plate. Could there be some kind of contamination? Do you have any possibility to check if the surface of that build plate is even? Unevenness should be below 0.2mm.
  11. There is always a reason. In this case, the print time gets smaller. And afaik it was decided by the people in charge of the profiles at Ultimaker that the tower is not necessary for a number of materials. Personally, I recommend to use the tower if you need a good dual print quality. But the tower thickness for combinations of two different materials (aka lower adhesion on each other than with two colors of the same material) is ridiculously small. It's very likely those towers are going to break if your objects are higher than something like 5cm. I recommend to use 3-4mm prime tower thickness. To come back to your question @StephanK, the recommended settings are indeed not ideal for dual prints from my point of view.
  12. Is there only one reseller listed for you country on the Ultimaker reseller list? If contacted by you also resellers outside your country are allowed to sell you parts. Question is of course if that makes sense in terms of shipping costs.
  13. It's not the z scar as far as I can see. I just sliced a Marvin in Cura 3.4.1. It's the point where it changes from infill (where the z increase takes place) to first the inner walls and then to the outer wall and finally to the infill again. However, the perpendicular travel move seems to be enough to slow down the head so you get a blob there. You may try to disable the jerk settings then it might slow down a bit less. Increasing the minimum layer time might also help in this case as the speed on this layer might be reduced.
  14. Interesting. For me, the reason to use the larger diameter is to speed things up. But that comes at the cost of a rougher vertical surface. That I see the smaller diameter for; one line with that one should be enough for an aesthetic surface. That leads for me to the separation between outer and inner wall. Especially with the nozzle diameters 0.4mm and 0.8mm as for the Ultimaker printcores, that replacement of the inner walls means drawing one line instead of two. What is your logic?
  15. This is carbonized PVA. Best thing to my experience is to take it out and use either your finger nail or a brass brush in order to remove it.
  16. Decreasing the acceleration and jerk settings should have a similar effect. Small features have a lot of direction changes and are therefore printed slower while long straight lines still reach a high speed. But please keep in mind that the extrusion rate might not be the same for slow and fast parts and small details might become thicker than wanted.
  17. This separates into infill and wall. What @colmoni meant was a separation in infill+inner wall and outer wall, correct? I think this separation would be much more useful, what do you think @ahoeben?
  18. You can use any URL like http://www.google.com. Just make sure you don't use https for this.
  19. There is such a thing planned. See https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues/3824 and the corresponding issues.
  20. Maybe it might be a good idea if Cura uses only one term in future, layer height and line width and get rid of thickness completely? Maybe other users also get a bit confused...
  21. It's broken in the UM3 firmware. UM is aware of it afaik. They first want to fix the S5 firmware and then port that firmware back to the UM3. As it works on the S5 this will fix that bug on the UM3.
  22. Don't forget to disable z hop on both extruders for the maximum height!
  23. Das würde ja erklären warum die Funktion unter "Experimentell" zu finden ist, oder? ?
