  1. Enabling Prime Tower would help with this.
  2. Or you can manually change it on the Printers Screen "Select Type". (Find the replacement material and over ride it).
  3. I agree with Smithy above. Drawn a quick "mock-up" and created an .stl this is what it should look like, also added some Rad to strengthen the fins. The GREEN arrow shows the "Start Point" - As you can see there's only 1. Your model shows 3, which suggests it's not connected.
  4. Have you checked the feeder tension? Credit to DidierKlein for this: The second arrow shows the pressure level, it should be at the middle
  5. Apologies terrypin....I wasn't clear.... Breakaway material is a specific type of material. https://ultimaker.com/materials/breakaway The settings of which are within Cura.......she below screenshot. This is a screenshot of something that is printing right now: We are using PLA material, and this is very easy to remove. The image also shows what settings we're using.
  6. Reducing the "Support Density" from 20% to 10% might help..... Also, using breakaway material will help.
  7. Cura Plug-in is here: https://marketplace.ultimaker.com/app/cura/materials/rlsijlbing/BASF_Ultrafuse_316L
  8. It has USB on one end and Micro USB on the other. We found it much easier to remove the camera housing from the printer frame open the case and change the Camera Board ONLY (by un-plugging the micro USB end and replacing). A lot easier than trying to re-route the new cable. Really simple and easy to do.
  9. We've had this problem also..... Contacted reseller and obtained this: Now the problem has been sorted: According to reseller: "The camera sometimes go myopic over time".
  10. Have you tried a different orientation? (Spinning the ball around....)
  11. I find it fairly accurate. When I begin prints, I check the first few layers.....once the print is well underway, I always "Tune" the print speed to 130% - 140% as it's a nice surprise to come back to the printer and it's almost finished, sooner than expected.......seems to work ok with PLA, not too well with ABS mind (delamination of layers...)
  12. Also make sure "Support" and "Brim" is not ticked.
  13. The only way you would be able to print one at a time is by "stacking" them (one on top of the other). But then, there would be a lot of support involved and it's not the ideal way of printing. It is "do-able" but not practical. Most 3D printers work using "Layer by Layer" building.
  14. Well you've just had 4 more downloaded, keep up the good work. 👏
  15. Part placement doesn't look level (flat).... Loaded the part, selected "Brim" and this is how it looked.....
  16. Just a thought, Is your base (glass plate) level? Try running the "Manual Level" in Maintenance. Looking at the print cores, it could be that the tip of the cores are too far away / too close to the glass (during print). The bowden tube collets are a bit hit and miss, you're better off looking for a different one on line, we've got the clip that allows the use of a small "zip" tie, which seems to help a lot. 👍
  17. Could you not "PAUSE" the printer after curve has completed, remove the material, then insert different colour? Making sure you "FOOL" the printer into thinking, it's the SAME material by choosing the material manually and not via NFC tag?
  18. Is the part touching the base in CURA? Any RED faces show that it's "un-supported". So effectively printing in fresh air......
  19. Can you heat the print core? If you can this will help you remove the core. Is the ColorFabb PLA you're using Ø 2.85mm?
  20. As far as I know, you can't buy the "nozzle only" you HAVE to buy a new extruder. We've experienced this, and rectified it by using a wire off a "Wire Brush"......yes a wire brush, heating the nozzle to operating temp, then pushing the wire through the nozzle hole then did a HOT and COLD pull, it now works a treat. 👍
  21. Have you Re-Calibrated the Decouplers since you had the "filament stuck" issue? https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/article_attachments/360013097260/Ultimaker_S5_Material_Station_-_Decoupler_calibration_instructions_v2.pdf
  22. Are you both using Print Core BB0.4 or BB0.8? Are the print cores clean inside? Are the pipes and guides free from blaokage? I only ask because as a piece of PVA broke off on the underside of our machine (feed paths) underneath the material station and was causing NO end of problems......similar to what you're both having.
